Ok I just had to say something about these two! Sometime they're my favorite part of an episode! They were hilarious in the season premiere, my family and I kept going back to the best scenes with them! Like when Ryan slides a little too far on his chair and Esposito grabs him and just shakes his head, or when Castle & Beckett make the bet and then Castle says, "What if they figure it out first?" Then both of them just say, "Nah," after seeing their faces. LOL there's a lot of great scenes with them and I figured I just had to point out what an awesome bromance these two have! They have really good chemistry together! Obviously not the kind that Beckett & Castle have but you know, the bromance kind. 
Anyone agree? (who couldn't really :P)

My favourite episode of Esposito and Ryan was the one in the second season where they have a bet with Castle and Beckett as to who solves the case first!

TheDarkAngel, that was The Double Down, the second episode of season 2 I believe. I really like their interaction too. They offset Castle & Beckett's sexual tension really well with some comic relief. Odd as it may sound, they remind me of Sonny & Cher, how one was the "straight man" and the other the butt of the joke. I'll bet you can't guess which is which? One TV reviewer likes them so much that she said they could easily have their own show, they're so entertaining.
Don't know about my favorite Esposito-Ryan episode (either The Double Down or Den of Thieves with the "partners 'til the wheels fall off" line), but last night they had one interaction that I missed. Castle & Beckett were going back and forth, and Ryan looked under them (since he and Esposito were sitting and Beckett & Castle were standing) and said something snide to Esposiot, who had an equally witty remark back. Great job guys!

The best Ryan & Esposito moment of last night's episode for me was the moment where Ryan's tempted to start believing what Castle's espousing about the psychic.
Ryan: Do you think…
Esposito: (very firmly) No.
It just told me everything about their respective characters, touching upon Ryan's slight idolization of Castle and his somewhat idealistic naivety, and Esposito's scepticism and cynicism.

So in the "Call the Masons scene" … where Castle is asking Beckett to make the call and she finally gives in and Castle whispers "Believe"
the boys conversation goes …
Ryan: "You know whats going on here?"
Esposito: "No, not really"
Ryan: Me neither
Words / dialog here —–> BORING!!! the delivery and expressions by the boys – Priceless!
then Beckett says: "No matter what happens we will never speak of this again." (hillarious!) This quote seems familiar to me – where else (what other shows, books, etc) has this been used in?
Ryan and Esposito – terrific together and add a lot to the show.
Just want to make sure that they don't make Ryan out to be a doofus. Naive yes, a caricature no. The did a good job pulling back from that area from the first episode in season 3.

That was my favorite Ryan/Esposito scene of 302, and you're right…it was only the acting skills of Seamus and Jon that sold the otherwise routine stuff. I really can't say enough about how much they contribute to my enjoyment of this show.

I adore Ryan & Esposito, they are so very different but very click beautifully together too. They just steal the scene so often. I love the scene in ummm…shocking with names sorry, the ep where the politician is murdered in S1 and they are dumpster diving and talking about "road kill" and Ryan admits his red couch is from 54th and Lex (I think) and Esposito is absolutely horrified 
The look on his face is priceless and then the black cop finds the wallet and his reply is "you just got in there" which leaves me to think he and Ryan have been looking for a while.
Their scene with the food in A Rose Forever After was very terrific too with them stuffing their faces as fast as they can when they see Beckett walking over – just gotta love these two.
Funniest Jon & Seamus moment I have seen so far has got to be from Comic Con, I finally got to see it, when someone asks about their relationship and Jon replies "it's not what you read on fanfic" I was in tears of laughter, he was so very droll over that one and Seamus says something and he replies "do you know the hole you are digging for us".
There was a shot of Seamus, Jon & Nathan and I couldn't help thinking they where the Three Musketeer's.

One of many fav Ryan&Esposito moments involve Castle too, from One Man's Treasure: Castle has just made coffee, but Beckett hauls him off and he gives the coffee to Ryan in passing…
Ryan: Fresh! And hot! And hot! And hot!
Esposito: He doesn't make ME coffee!

totally totally agree! they just keep having epic lines episode by episode! Ryan got this i-don't-know-what-going-on thing going on at time that just cracks me up…so adorable! and Esposito with this tough-funny thing going on…so good! Team ryan & esposito!
