Yes, there were repeats during the break between seasons 1 & 2 – they aired on Saturdays – which appears to be how things are moving this time – after the finale we have 2 out of three weeks that will have Saturday repeats – details on the Schedule page.

I'm guessing our summer "Castle" season will consist of some repeats on Saturdays (as admin has indicated), an extra mystery tweeted from WriterCastle, and an online posting of chapters of Naked Heat. While that's not the same as getting new episodes…it's a much better deal than fans of any other show on TV will get.

I think they meant OUR summer season. Hopefully they will air reruns and post some chapters of the new books, but I don't think we will see any new eps until Fall.

I missed what was tweeted last summer by Castle (wasn't following him yet). Any possibility that he might twitter what's going on in the Hamptons or make mention of Gina? Or are those kinds of details going to be revealed only in the new season?

One nice thing about him going to the Hamptons with Gina, is that Gina isn't really important in the Castle-verse, so he might tweet about her pacing around him making sure he writes, and such. Last year he had a whole murder mystery to solve, and a local detective to annoy. I could see him sneaking out and getting into trouble instead of writing… And then getting into trouble with Gina when he got back in… Here's hoping.

If my guess is right, the producers are giving us a clue that the next season will start in the summer. Castle will not stay in the Hamptons all summer or Beckett will be at the Hamptons this summer to kick of the third season. Might be a good guess…

That would be good. I can't see them being able to stick it out all summer. My wife and I get really antsy when we're apart for to long. I know codependent. We just love being together.

Let's hope they will keep their word about Castle staing on Monday nights once Season 3 starts.
I am hoping and praying that they don't do what Fox and NBC had done in the past and shuffle their shows. Law & Order: SVU lost its audience and tanked in the ratings when they moved to Wednesday night at 9pm. Then moved to Wednesday nights at 10pm and did better but still didn't win their time slot like they sued too on Tuesday nights at 10pm.
Life never gained audience becasue NBC kept moving their time slot.
Fringe was in danger of being cancelled until Fox decided on a permanent time slot for them and it has worked eversince.

You can blame Jay Leno for SVU being moved. I bet when it starts in its original time slot next season the ratings will come up. A lot of people didn't know where to find it this season.

Actually, besides Leno and the time slot change, SVU's quality of writing has droppe so much. They bombabrd their episodes with big names but their episodes have sucked so badly this season, worse than last season. They also keep changing their ADA when they should have stuck with Stephanie March. SVU was so much better when they didn't use to name drop who the guest stars would be. And when their writers paid more attantion to the script than who would be in the episode.
