I am sorry I could not read all the posts.  But the ones I did read were great suggestions.  I personally feel that the only way this dynamic show and the whole story line that would build up to the "Castle and Beckett hook up" has to be written  where Beckett can be some one else for that episode.  I feel it should be a cliff hanger for season 4 or 5.   If the writers are anything like they are for the past seasons they will see my logic.  Beckett must have a head injury where she loses her memory and some how during her recovery she keeps hearing the name Nikki Heat.  Perhaps the nurses are big fans and they discuss stuff in her coma like state and Beckett subconsciously becomes NIki Heat.  

 

Bones did a similar episode but their Character was in a dream like coma the whole episode.  

I feel the episode has to be  worked  where there is a chance for the two characters that we have grown to like and admire can resume a working relationship but also get their FREAK ON for the sake of the audience.   So my vote is HOT-N-SEXY  with a twist.  

You know, when Bones did this I really felt ripped off, manipulated, and disappointed.  Granted, part of my feelings stemmed from the fact that TPTB at Bones led the fans to believe that we were going to get the "real deal" at the end of season 4, and we didn't.  But, please, no dream sequence, no "head injury", no soap opera manipulation of the characters.  I want the first time they make love to be the real deal.  When they are both know exactly who they are with, and what they are doing.  And no situation where we are then suppose to pretend that it didn't happen, or the characters can forget what happened.  

I really don't want to bash this idea, as I'm sure some of us would like to see it, but at the same time I really feel strongly about not wanting Castle to go this route.  But….as we are talking about Castle, and not Bones (and I remember the fan fallout for Bones after the episode aired, a lot of fans were absolutely furious), I am pretty sure that this is not what we are going to get.
