OfflineIf and when Castle and Beckett have the talk about what they are, what would everyone want each of them to tell the other? Do you think it will be in the fourth season or not?
Some of the things they say to each other:
That they love each other.
That they are both somewhat afraid to have a relantionship but that life is just to short to have two people who love each other not try and then regret it later.
Both telling each other that he/she would always be there for each other even when at times it doesn't seem like it.
Tell each other to have trust in each other and that they will not hurt each other on purpose.
These are some of the things I would like them to talk about about, what about you.?

OfflineI want them both to say "I love you". People seem to be so afraid to say those words today. I want them to say it at least once, to each other. Make it clear, and not when one of them is lying on the ground, and is almost dying.
Another thing I would like them to say is that they both made mistakes, and that they both regret all the time they wasted in meaningless relationships and hurting each other. I want them to recognize that they're not perfect and that they'll try their best to be honest from now on.

OfflineI agree!! I want to hear them say I love you in a non-life threatening situation and I want them to REALLY say it and mean it.
I also want them to say how while they are both scared, they are worth the risk.
Also, that they would never intentionally hurt the other and that they will always be there for the other regardless of whatever happens.
I want them to admit that they've been in meaningless relationships in order to avoid being with the other out of fear and how life is too short to not be with the person your in love with and not try to be happy.
I also at some point REALLY want kate to tell Rick how much his books helped her through her mothers murder….but that would probably happen in season 5.

OfflineGood question, Zurrak. Here are my thoughts, much the same as what others have said:
- Neither is or has been perfect, but they care for the other and want to make the effort for a relationship;
- Absolutely saying I love you and seriously meaning it;
- That they'll "always" be there for each other even if a relationship doesn't work out, but it sounds like Marlowe is working towards something that will
- They care about the others' family (Alexis, Martha, Jim Beckett) as they do their own
- How one has made the other a better person (happier, better at what they do for a living, given them courage to face their fears, etc)
- That one is sorry for hurting the other in the past

OfflineI just want the conversation to be not be so one-sided. Because of the structure of the show (It is called Castle, after all), we're only privileged to his feelings, interactions, and thoughts/regrets of his character. Honestly, Beckett's makeup and character and Stana's portrayal of such is just as interesting and I find the longing and desire to be with Castle much more desirable TV. His quote, "You deserve to be happy," resonated so much with me because I truly think she sees the life she always wanted right in front of her but she simply can't get out of her own way. On top of that, watching Stana emote and show Beckett's deep and emotional thoughts is one of the guilty pleasures of this show. What a great actress!

Very good point, but I think Castle is just better at expressing his emotions. Beckett hates to be seen as vulnerable, plus she's on guard against getting hurt so when she does open up to Castle, it says a lot about how much she cares for him. It'll be huge when she finally reciprocates Castle's love. And with the storyline of
Beckett going into therapy,

OfflineI hope that due to the impact of the shooting, and seeing how close she came to dying, that Beckett verbalises what her heart desires, to her new therapist. Especially where Castle is concerned. I think once she hears out loud what she thinks and feels on a deep level, she will realise how poor her life would be without Castle in it. This season will be a merging of souls once they confront their own truths.

Exactly! Sometimes there are things that you need to voice and to hear in order to understand them and accept them. She needs to hear what she feels for Castle, and it has to come from her. She has kept her feelings to herself for too long. It needs to come out. Only then she will be able to accept them.

I only sorta agree. In real life, men and women communicate quite differently. While they both have things that need to be spoken out loud, it cannot be so symmetrical and still be believable. Kate needs to open up, and let Rick know what she is thinking and feeling. Rick has been pretty open about that, but he tends to make it sound like a joke. She is serious, but needs to let him in, He has let her in, but needs to let her know he means it.

Wouldn't it be great when they have this "discussion" they will both say "I love you" at the same time like when they both figure out and say "I know who the killer is" that has happened on many an espisode.
Now that would be great! [Image Can Not Be Found] It would be spontaneous, natural, and would release some of the tension of the scene.

I don't care what or how they say it but just be sure that mutual affection comes out crystal clear on both sides and seal the deal with a very passionate kiss that leaves both slightly breathless. Repeat as needed.
LOL!!! The "repeat as needed" cracked me up;-) Other than that, I totally agree with you. They need to move forward by expressing their feelings clearly. But this is Castle…dunno if they do "clearly"…hahaha.

I agree totally. Thinking to yourself that you love someone is completely different from saying it out loud, and especially from saying it out loud to that person you love. Like members of the crew have said, once it's said, it can't be taken back. So it'll be a huge step when Beckett says it to her therapist and even bigger when she says it to Castle.
