I saw this on twitter! Sweet!

This might actually be the first show (I've seen in a long time) that will syndicate while the show is presently on hiatus and not canceled. Interesting.

This is awesome! I love TNT!

Makes me wonder what show isn't going to be shown on TNT anymore (currently in syndication on TNT: Charmed, Law & Order, Las Vegas, Supernatural, Cold Case and Bones). They have The Closer playing in the afternoons, but I don't think they'll take one their own shows off the schedule. I'm hoping they get rid of either Supernatural or Las Vegas. But then again, those shows air during the day and I would rather have Castle on in the late afternoon or early evening so I would be able to watch it.

Can't wait for it to start airing.

Kinda sad that Castle was purchased for around 850,000 per episode while H50 gets 2.something million per ep! And Castle has been rating better … TNT got a bargain

850.000? I've read 1.5 million and according to Deadline Hollywood updated coverage it is not an exclusive contract (contrary the first news) unlike the ones about H50 and The Mentalist, so AM&Co can sell it to other parties as well.

The difference in purchase price was disappointing to hear but I read that H50's contract was exclusive and Castle's was not, leaving it open for other networks to syndicate as well. Not sure if this is true, but if it is, that would explain the difference.

Whether or not H50 went for a higher price, the bottomline is that theoretically more and more people will be exposed to Castle since it most likely will be aired earlier than 10pm.  And since TNT doesn't have exclusive rights, Castle could end-up on top in the end if they also get syndicated on a channel such as USA.  At the end of the day what matters is the numbers Castle puts up during the season and as of the end of this season they were whooping H50.  I say *two thumbs up*
