with my luck this was posted elsewhere and i couldn't find it 
all through the last episode of season 2, i did not see her mom's wedding ring around her neck. instead, there seems to be a locket of some sort.
when did she stop wearing it?

Probably just a goof. Sometimes they mix things up on shows and TV with costumes and hope we don't notice, but we crazy fans usually do, LOL. I bet you'll see the ring again in season 3.

I don't know that it was a goof…it seems odd that they would be so consistent with it all this time and then just forget? I'd like to think that when she started seeing Demming she didn't want to get into all that personal stuff with him yet so she took it off to avoid questions. Others might say she was trying to look extra special nice for him so she was wearing new stuff. But it does seem odd that she not have it on when it's so important to her.

It could be as simple as it not going with her outfit… we've seen her without it before – eg Home is Where the Heart Stops

That's my take on it. I'm pretty certain it's not a goof because there are people employed by the show specifically to ensure that such "goofs" don't happen.

Stana doesn't alway have on shirts that show her neckline, so Beckett could have been wearing the necklace we just don't see it.

I was just wondering what happened to it also. I thought that she just wanted to look extra pretty for Demming so she didn't wear it but who knows.

I was surprised too that i didnt see a glimps of it in the last two episode…but i'm pretty sure its with her and we will going to see it again next season…

I couldn't see her just not wearing it, even with the Demming development. That's a huge part of her past and a huge part of her life and she's not going to just "forget" to wear it, ya know? It's also a huge part of her character, so I'm not thinking it's a goof.
