I know there are so many to choose from.  How do you pick one?  It's like picking a favorite child.  But for me the scene from Suckerpunch with Lanie, the pathlogist Murray, Kate, and Rick sitting at the table and Murray and Kate are discussing the case.  The way the scene was shot and edited just blew me away.  Kate and Murray do most of the talking, but the shots of Lanie and Rick during the scene with them and not saying anything but making eye contact was awesome.  Then, Lanie does have a couple of lines and Rick had no lines.  Three people knew what was coming – only Kate was blindsided.  And the look on Kate's face when the realization comes her mother was murdered by the same person.  That scene was the most powerful scene I have seen in a very long time.  The powerful impact came from the visual more than the dialogue.

One scene that really stands out for me is one in A Chill Goes Through Her Veins. Castle and Beckett are in the car outside the old man's house to arrest him. Castle says they don't have to arrest him in front of his grandchildren but Beckett says she has to do this, it's the real world where you cannot write the outcome yourself. Beckett goes to the door and Castle watches with a look of sadness but also some admiration at her for doing what is right even when there is an easy way out.

So many to choose from! I hesitate between three scenes :

The one in "A chill goes through her veins" when Beckett tells Castle about her moom for the very first time. This scene is very important, she trusts him enough to open up to him about that. And the emotion in her voice and in her eyes when she explains why she wears her mom's ring and her father's watch… definitely one of my favorite moments.

I also love the last scene in Sucker Punch, when she tells him she's gotten used to him pulling her pigtails, and that she wants him around when she finds her mom's killer. That was their most romantic scene, at that time. And that was a big step for them.

I also love the hotel scene in 3x22. As frustrating as this scene was, it was also the most romantic scene I've ever seen in this show. I love everything about it, the way they look at each other, what they say to each other, the way they are sitting on the couch, how they seem to be able to "communicate" even with a door between them… It's the scene that I've watched the most since the beginning of show, so… I guess I could say it's my favorite.

Oh, my. Just one?

The freezer scene – oh so tender
The bomb scene – the looks of "If this is my final moment, I'm glad it's with you"

In the pilot, Rick making his on-the-spot analysis of why Kate became a cop (and her face while he does so) I brag about this scene whenever there is anyone around ("You gotta see this – watch her reactions!" My wife gets tired of hearing me say this)

It is hard to choose a favorite scene, isn't it?  I should have said top 100!  I have never seen a show before that continues to have so many wonderful scenes – so well written, acted, and filmed.  I have Season 1 and 2 DVDS, so guess how I am going to survive the 4 months until Season 4?  I am anticipating and dreading the finale.  I think it is going to be very sad and mind blowing.

There's so many that it's almost impossible to pick just one. Wow.

I like "you have no idea" from the pilot. There was just something about that moment that told me I was in for a unique ride that other shows could only dream about.

I  loved the scene when she hugged him after he diffused the bomb!

My husband loved the scene when she popped her shirt blouse open in front of The Old Haunt, rendering Castle breathless – literally.

I love it everytime they finish each others sentences, especially the time they were on separate dates and she was talking to castle while on the phone with Ryan and Esposito, and the time they were building the case and Castle had his Aha! moment (in Poof).  I loved the way she was clueless and said "What???" And went back to looking at the computer while Castle was checking her out and looked baffled/flustered, etc.

Creepy Scenes:  I loved the way triple killer told Castle why he was drawn to death – and Castle was speechless.

I loved the way Beckett stalked Ganz at the Santa Monica Pier – everything about it!  He gait, her expressions, the clothes, the lighting, camera angles, and the last moments under the Pier were so well done I could smell the damp ocean.  Her expressions were very very creepy.

Humor:  I love a lot of the funny scenes, like "The Real Nick" whose name is Ralph – priceless.  The ridiculous handshake of the actor playing Ochoa, and Castle's reaction, the scene where Castle and Alexis are playing lazertag and Beckett shows up.

Great Pretty Beckett moments:

I LOVED the final moment when Rick tricks Beckett into movie night – his EXPRESSION was worth a million bucks!  I REALLY want to see more of that!

I LOVED Beckett's expression in Setup when Castle enters the containment tent and she's standing there terrified.  I think she's more beautiful in that shot than in any other in the show.

I loved her acting and the way she looked when she was in her apartment crying about her Mom's case – when Castle brought her flowers.  I like it when she's dressed casual.

I liked the scene when she made Castle confess to being jealous of the other writer.  And I liked the scene where she brought his coffee and held his hand in 3XK.

I have to agree that scene did stand out for me as well.

What you said about the bomb scene agree on that's what they were thinking

the blouse scene was awesome. Reminds me of the time he checked out her ass in "lucky Stiff"  And I am one hundred percent with you on when she was stalking Ganz. I pay a lot of my attention on facial features and body language. and I loved all that.

There is no way I can pick just one. So I am going to saaaay

Any scene where they talk with their expressions only.  Sometimes those scenes get more emotion  across than any with actual dialogue. And I have to say, the one scene aside from the way they looked at each other before Castle Ironically defused the bomb, the Hotel scene sticks in my head the most… It's one  I can't stop thinking about. And it's the second scene I have watched more then five times. The first one being the kiss scene.

I love those two as well.  As for one single all-time favorite, there's no way I can choose.

There are so many, it's hard to pick one.  So I won't.  But I can probably narrow it down to my top two.

1.  The Kiss.  Oh. My. God.  That was amazing.

2.  (really a tie for #1) – The hangar scene in the finale.  If you can watch that scene without crying or at least tearing up a little, you have ice in your veins.

These are my top 2 in the series, as well!
