OfflineAnother scene I forgot about was from One Life to Lose when Castle and Beckett interview the coffee shop waitress who is distraught over having lost her shot at getting her script onto the soap opera. Beckett and Castle have an entire conversation with their eyes and don't utter a single word. Awesome!
And let's not forget Susan's scene in Knockdown when she chastises Castle. Great job!

OfflineI think my alltime favorite scene is the "I'll be happy to let you spank me" scene from the pilot. It's something about that whole scene…him asking for the pictures…just everything, that set such a great tone for the entire series. And the look on Nathan's face when he says, "I don't want the bodies, just the pic-tures."…oh man, I about die everytime I watch it. Now I do love other scenes, including the kiss, and I LOVE the talk between Castle and Martha in the finale this season, but I will forever be enthralled by that scene in the pilot.

I'll be brief. These scenes always get to me when I see them:
Rick's on-the-spot analysis of Kate in FLOWERS
Kate's "I want you around" scene at the end of Suckerpunch
Holding hands at the end of 3XK
The freezer and bomb scenes in Countdown
Ryan & Esposito's fight in Knockout
Rick carrying Kate from the hangar to the car in Knockout
There are many more really good scenes, but these always strike something deep inside.
Well picked. I love all these scenes too.
Impossible to pick 5 favorite scenes. For me, most currently are from Suckerpunch and Knockout. I haven't even finished rewatching all the episodes yet. Long way to go. So many little things you notice which I didn't notice the 1st time I watched the episodes.
I think the episode I laughed the loudest so far was for Nikki Heat.
Wow, the initial question is pretty hard to answer… I have lots of favorite scenes but the first one that's crossing my mind right now is from episode 3x01 "A Deadly Affair":
Beckett: Don't think that this means that you won the bet. All we know is they are connected, we still don't know how.
Castle: I missed you too.
Castle has been gone for the whole summer, he gave no news to the team, Beckett – after dumping her boyfriend thinking she would go on vacation in the Hamptons with Castle – is seriously pissed off and kind of harsh to him. And then she says something completely random and down to earth (the bet), to which Castle replies from his heart. That scene is very brief but I think it really sums up their relationship: Beckett is very detached (well, at least she tries to be) and sticks to the case, while Castle is much more emotional and demonstrative. Plus, Beckett's smile after Castle's answer, and him smiling back, is worth a million words. Although in the Season 3 finale Beckett says that Castle doesn't know her, the "I missed you too" scene is one of these moments when you clearly see that he does. He knows that she missed him and finds the words to let her know that he knows. It's both sweet and funny. And Castle's smile is not because he won the bet, but because he won her back. Yay! [Image Can Not Be Found] (I so love his lack of modesty here, by the way).
Although Castle is often showed as a childish guy for his reactions and overactive imagination, I truly believe that, emotionally speaking, he's much more of an adult than Beckett!

OfflineI have to add this from the episode I saw yesterday 'close encounters with a murderous kind' (I think that was the full name – slowly getting around to learning the names of the episodes. If I can do it for NCIS, I can do it for Castle, just give me a month). Anyway, one of my favorite lines so far has got to be the part where Castle told Beckett 'I am not asking you to dye your hair red and call me Mulder'! I was LOL at this scene. Loved Mulder and Scully (though not as much as Caskett obviously).

OfflineWell, I'd like to say I can pick just one, but…NOPE!
Most of my favorites are from season 3.
The bomb scene where Rick just pulls all the wires is classic.
The freezer scene of course with them both on the verge of freezing to death in eachothers arms.
Episode 22 was a great one too. The hotel scene in particular.
The very end to the finale is definitely a favorite when Rick tells Kate he loves her.
But my overall favorite has to be in the finale when Rick goes to Kate's house and they fight. Particularly, Rick's speech about not knowing what they are. Friends, partners, or more? I just love the passion that was put into the scene.

OfflineI just saw To Love and Die in L.A on Star World Asia a while ago and I have to say my current favorite scene is when Beckett said to Castle, "Poke you? I wanna kiss you." Castle's look was so funny! But of course, I have a long list just like you guys. Still have to think of it though. [Image Can Not Be Found]

I have 2 favorite scenes…
This scene has so many great lines and witty banter between Beckett and Castle. Beckett's facial expressions and eye-rolling in the beginning are priceless!
"If you get killed–" "My lifeless remains cannot sue the city." "Do I have to wait for him to sign, or can I shoot him now?"
"Yeah, well, your inspiration might strike ya sooner than you think."
"Detective Kate Beckett, NYPD." "Richard Castle, just NY."
Castle really shouldn't be annoying Beckett while she's shooting a gun. I still can't believe Beckett got hustled like that.
"Shot too soon!" "Well we could always just cuddle Castle"
"It's not a duel scaramouche"
I really love those lines…
I will also add the scene that makes me became a Castle fan: the one when Castle thinks that he is under a spell in that episode about the mummy exhibition (I still don't know the name of the episodes) and when the elevator seems to not be working he decides to lay on the floor, arms and legs spread and then, when it starts to work again, he finds Beckett staring at him probably thinking that he was crazy.
Another favourite scene; albeit an unconventional one, since it does not really Castle or Beckett directly:
One Life to Lose, Corbin Bernsen in the interrigation room:
"You want the truth?"
"That would be a great place to start"
"YOUU CAAAN'T HAAANDLE THE TRUTH!!"
"…"
I found this absolutely hillarious. Here's a guy, arrested for murder, but being an actor, he just cannot resist the opportunity to quote a famous (and kinda cheesy) line, despite the seriousness of the situation…

OfflineMy favourite scene comes from "To love and Die in LA".
It's the ending where they are sitting in the airplane together and Kate is reading Royce's letter.
After she finishes it, she looks at Castle and altho there are no words being said, when she looks over at a sleeping Castle, you can read in her eyes that she finally comes to terms with her own feelings.
I think that's one of the most powerful scenes of Castle so far, and together with the music it gives me goosebumps everytime I watch it.
a funny scene I also like comes from an earlier ep (I forgot which one):
Kate to Ryan & Esposito: "You guys are detectives, SO DETECT!"
For some reason I find that hilarious lol.

OfflineAdding to my previous post, another favorite has also got to be the ending scene in 3XK (S03E06), when Kate brings Castle the coffee and rests her hand on his leg. It reassures him that she's there for him. When he grabs her hand, I literally melt.

I too love this scene.
There was another scene I loved in the episode I rewatched yesterday 'Third Man'. Castle and Beckett end up at the same restaurant with their dates. What I loved most tho is that they kept talking to their dates about their case and the dates looked utterly bored! Then at the end, Kate and Rick walked arm in arm to the elevator and they were saying that those people probably didn't know how to behave on the 1st date which was utterly hilarious. Also when Ryan and Esposito said 'do they know they complete each other's sentences'.

There are so many, it's hard to pick one. So I won't. But I can probably narrow it down to my top two.
1. The Kiss. Oh. My. God. That was amazing.
2. (really a tie for #1) – The hangar scene in the finale. If you can watch that scene without crying or at least tearing up a little, you have ice in your veins.
These are my two favorite scenes as well although its very hard to pick just two.
I also love the scene at her apartment in the season 3 finale where they have this big argument. I had always watched and enjoyed the show but it was after this episode that I became a hardcore fan of it. (Well, I was sort of getting there by the time I watched the 2 parter in season 3 – haven't got around to getting to know all the names of the episodes yet, although will get to that shortly- and the LA episode). That hotel room scene was awesome.
After reading other posts, I have to also go with Tick tick tick and Boom. The part where Ryan and Esposito 'interrogated' Castle and Beckett at her apartment was very nice!
I do like those scenes as well, especially the Dana Delany quote, "So how long have you guys been sleeping together?".
Scenes that emotionally shock and charge Beckett usually get me, such as:
1. During the book launch party in Bough Breaks when Castle, confirming his dedication for the book, looks her straight in the eyes and says, "I meant it, you are extraordinary." Her reaction was priceless- like telling your 5 year old daughter she is beautiful and seeing her face light up.
2. When Beckett accidentally overhears Castle break up with Gina. She literally swoons back and does a double-take…did I just hear that?
3. The hotel scene in LA. I was on the edge of my seat wandering if she would open that door. The lyrics to that song were so perfectly suited to mirror Kate's feelings.
4. "I'm very very sorry. If we're never going to see each other again, I wanted you to know that." 03x01. Still, one of my favorites.
5. There is a scene at Castle's apartment where Beckett and Martha talk about the inheritance Chet left her and Beckett advises her with Castle's exact words about money magnifying who you are. Watching the love on his face overhearing her plagiarize his advice is quite endearing. I almost felt like this was "on/off" switch for Castle. Truly lovely.
6. The scene with tequila shots off each others' wrists…oh wait, that's the book[Image Can Not Be Found]
