Hi. yesterday i was reading some of the topics and i read one where someone said that Famke Janssen should be cast has Nikki Heat. So what do you think? Wich actress should be Nikki Heat?
My personal opinion is Sarah Shahi (from the tv series Life).
I didn´t notice if someone already posted this, so i´m sorry if you did 
Also, sorry for my english.

wouldn't it be funny if stana and nathan acted out both characters as both beckett/heat and castle/rook, and see everyone in the show go "hm, there is an uncanny resemblance…"

I think that would be a good idea. Great actually, because they can play "themselves" but exaggerated. They can use an alias.. like Malcom Reynolds and Simone Renoir or something like that as the "real actor's" name.

I just love the idea of Nathan and Stana being cast as the leads in the movie. I really think the show could pull that off. Can't you just hear the comments from Castle and Beckett as they discuss the merits of these actors? I'd also love to see them meeting themselves on the red carpet!

I do not know, how much extra budget it requires to make it technically
perfect (do not forget that Castle is a relatively low-cost series, or
it was at least), but I think that the additional hype would worth it (for us anyhow).
That would bring a heap of funny possibilities (I love the idea as they are talking about the actors capabilities), but even if Rook and Heat will be played by others, it will be great fun! I can imagine as Rook's actor is asking Castle about his involvment in the cases in the same manner as Castle did many times "just to be accurate".
Famke Janssen was my idea over at the ABC forum, because Nikki Heat is described physically similar to Beckett and she has the beauty and toughness in her. (I wouldn't pick Kate Beckinsale despite Castle's very PR-friendly idea.) Sarah Shahi – I loved her in Life, she is good, but she is small to Beckett. For Rook I liked the idea of John Cusack.

How about Jason Bateman for Rook? Especially since Nathan has said that he gets mistaken for him sometimes. Castle can say something along the lines of "I don't see it. Where's the resemblance? He looks nothing like me!"
As for Nikki, I really don't know.
Also, like the idea of Stana and Nathan playing Nikki and Rook and the conversation that would come out of that.

It would be great to see Nathan & Stana play their respective characters, but I was thinking of Jennifer Garner for Nikki and Ewan McGregor for Rook.

Nathan and Stana all the way!!! Would be hilarious and yeah to see Beckett and Castle talking about 'themselves' would be funny too.
In the roundtable from SDCC (might've been in Admins post?) when asked, Stana even said herself. lol I LOVED that. Totally agree.
Curious to see how much of the movie they play out in the show..the whole going to LA bit is gonna be a fun ep eh

I'm also interested in finding out how Beckett will deal with all the publicity. I wonder if
the allusions to Nikki Heat not liking the publicity from Rook's article in Naked Heat is something of a foreshadowing. I can't imagine it'll be easy for her to do her job with the whole world knowing that she was the inspiration for the character, especially if the movie is successful. The writers kind of glossed over that in the previous couple seasons – whether or not the exposure, both from the book and the magazine interview at the beginning of season 2 made work more difficult for Beckett.

I'd go with Kate Beckinsale. She simply is smoking hot. Plus, Castle would probably have some influence over casting choices, and he was the one suggesting her in the first place if I remember correctly.
As for Rook I'll randomly choose Michael Sheen.
