I don't know Piratelabs. I think it will happen sooner than later (the admission of feelings at least, but not the relationship). I have been happily surprised by the pace of C/B's relationship on the show. The writers have really delivered on the building of their relationship little by little almost every episode. There have nearly always been one or more moments in each episode that have made me happy with the development in their relationship (most recently, the obvious building of trust in Tick/Boom, Castle asking Beckett to watch over Alexis if something happened to him in Wrapped in Death, and the jealousy/recognition of jealousy/Beckett asking Castle to go out for a burger in Late Shaft).
It's pretty amazing that they can consistently keep delivering these moments to keep things moving forward. And I think they will start with some admission of feelings (either to each other or 3rd parties) in the near future while finding some way to not get them involved in a relationship just yet. I could be totally wrong, but I'm hopeful!

It's great that there are so many different obions, and options. I think someone, can't remember who, that said it has to be Castle that admits it first, he's the one that has pursued her. And, watching the show, and seeing how he's more at ease with the thought of "them", it makes us all think that's how it will happen. But, I'm holding out; I think it's going to be Beckett that spills first. That would be the little twist that we would not be expecting. Think about it, it would keep us all talking, and waiting, all summer long.
You should kiss that girl while you are both young.

Rcaskett…… Beckett has been more open about where she stands than Castle. Castle flirts and is playful but you can never tell whether or not he is serious. Beckett, on the other hand, told Will that she likes Castle and her "it's complicated" spoke volumes. Castle has expressed his feelings through his actions. I think Castle needs to be the first to tell so that Beckett will know he's serious and adjust her thinking accordingly. Piratelabs that is a legitimate free but I would have to agree with DMCW. So far the writers have been spot on in the pace of the relationship. In fact, they have moved faster than I would have expected (and I like it). There's no reason for them to drag this out too long. They are both single adults who are totally smitten and who see each other everyday. Unless, there is some major life altering event that drives them apart they should be hooking up over the course of this season and the next.

That's true, we would be left hanging and ofcourse chatting it up in the forums and chat on what happens all summer long lol. It would be a great twist for it to be Beckett, since it's unlike her.

Well, there's really no way we can be sure who will admit to his/her feelings first. Castle would be the obvious choice. I sort of think maybe it will be Beckett for that reason. I mean, can you imagine how awesome it'd be if she got to the point where she just couldn't take it anymore? Her feelings would take over and she would do something totally out of blue…she'd blurt something out or maybe kiss him (he'd have to do something amazing first) without even thinking about it. After she did one of those things, she'd be shocked by her own actions and not know what to do. I don't know…I think that'd be pretty awesome, considering it would be completely unexpected from that type of character.
Then again, I'd love to see Castle admit it first and see her reaction. I want him to maybe say something or kiss her unexpectedly and have her get scared of her own emotions and act like she doesn't feel anything when she really does. It'd be interesting to see her try to fight herself until she can't fight anymore and gives into Castle. Who knows…I'm sure the writers will do a great job with this. I'm not worried.

I think that Martha might get Beckett to talk to Castle about it, or the other way around. I think that Martha is the only older adult who actually sees what's going on between her son and Beckett. May be the other two guys that Beckett works with might get her to talk to Castle, if there's another 10 most eligible list made, and then they can go from there, and Castle won't have to hide the paper from her at all. I think that Castle is so into her, that he doesn't realize it. I think that when he talks about her, to interviewers, the people that he's talking to may think that he's not single anymore and that may not be what he wants the single girls to know or think.

I vote for Beckett, after Castle gets shot, somewhere mid-season 3.
She'll be frantic, trying to stem the blood. He'll be on the floor, bleeding out and falling unconcious, he (probably) won't hear her.
He'll spend the next 2-3 episodes recovering while we watch Beckett struggle with the feelings she's admitted to herself.
It might be a nice twist that Castle actually heard her declaration but was simply waiting for her to come to terms with it whilst not in a life or death situation. he knows now, how she feels so he's content to wait.
They'll work it all out by the end of the season and we can lead into season 4 with a cliffhanger where the press have found out and they have to deal with the new situation at home and at the precinct.
again, this is all theory….

It´s funny, I don´t feel from Beckett that she likes Castle. He has shown more jeoulos reaction than her. And since the begining Beckett would make an efford not to show any emotions towards Castle, and I find that peculiar. Apparently she liked him as a writer way back, as we found out in an episode, but she really doesn´t show.
In the last ep (Overkill) I felt sooo sorry for Castle! And from the new promo I get the feeling the put together a promo that makes us think that Castle will ask her to somewhere, but I really think Demming has something to do with that.
So, I think Castle is more likely to admit lol

Hi, I am just new here.
I am thinking that Beckett and Castle might admitt at the same time that they want to admitt to the other.Another thought of my is that Beckett would say it first. Don't you guy's all think that Castle touched a very emotionel thing when he said to her that he wanted to be his last case at a Deadly Game. And I am thinking to that Beckett is really starting to miss Castle and she even is breaking up with Demming to not hurt herself about her feelings for Castle.We also hear in another episode when Beckett is interrogating her friend Maddison. Madisson is saying somthing about making "little Castles" with Castle. Beckett is saying that he can hear them like and she's like that might happen over some years.
This were my thoughts about Castle and Beckett.

I think Beckett not Castle was the one to put herself out there. At this point it goes beyond admitting feelings. Castle now has to prove that he can be trusted with her feelings considering his dumb choice to take Gina to the Hamptons in the finale.

This is a fun question. Here's my current theory.
For Castle it's a game to goad Beckett into admitting her feelings for him, which could be one of the reasons for Gina's return. He will continue to banter with her and egg it on. But while this is going on with different murder investigations, Castle comes across information leading to the big bad and the scheme that led to Beckett's mother's murder. This leads the team to open up the case again, which leads to Season 3 finale. Beckett gets kidnapped by the big bad, and in the final confrontation, Ryan and Esposito get wounded, and Castle shoots the big bad and kills him/her. Afterward, Beckett comes up to Castle and hugs him, says thanks, and asks if going to the Hamptons is still open, "I could use some funny business". Castle retorts, "see, I knew you wanted to go. Wha. . . you said 'funny business?'" Beckett, "let's check on Ryan and Esposito first, you're driving".
The ultimate question of who admits feelings first is left unanswered, but they're together. Start of Season 4.
Yeah, it's corny, but it's a fun question to ponder. Really like everyone's ideas. It'll be interesting to see how it ultimately gets resolved and when.
