Wow, so many good ideas.  I vote for any or all of the Firefly cast guesting.  I'd love to see the "wordsmith" come back (can never remember his name or his episode).  That was a great character and the actor did a fabulous job with his portrayal.  Maybe Castle and Beckett could call him in periodically for help on cases. 

As for other guest stars, I'd love to see Dean Cain on, though I think I'd die of hyperventiliation with him and Nathan and Jon Huertas and Stana all on the same show.  Just too much attractiveness!  Didn't someone say their ovaries might explode?  Same here if Dean came on. 

Dylan McDermott would be a good idea too.  So would Reba McIntire (she's on my list of people you personally admire and would love to meet or have lunch with).  I wasn't so much a fan of Goran Visnic (sorry if I spelled his name wrong), though his ER episodes with Stana were great. 

I'm also a huge Betty White fan (she'd be hilarious as a former Broadway diva acquaintance of Martha's) as well as a fan of "Will and Grace", so I'd love to see Eric McCormick, Debra Messing, or Megan Mullally.  Even Shelley Morrison, who maybe could play a relative of Esposito's.

Oh the 'wordsmith' was pretty cool! I loved that episode! Would be cool for him to come back again!

Very funny Singin Princess.  But seriously, I can barely contain myself whenever Dean Cain is on screen!  He did a Lifetime movie in 2004 with Denise Richards where he played THE perfect guy and a firefighter to boot!  I was practically in pain the first time I saw it he is sooo gorgeous.  It's part of the reason I own all the Lois & Clark DVDs.  He can save me in that suit anytime!

Anyway (clears throat and composes herself), put him on a TV screen with Nathan Fillion, Jon Huertas in one of Esposito's polo shirts and doing a love scene with Stana and I might just implode!  The last straw would be if Daniel Craig walked in.  You'd have to look for me on Lanie's table.  Laugh

I totally agree with you about Reba McIntire.  I saw an interview she did with a fan years ago where she talked about how she believes in treating people the way she wants to be treated and, even though she could have just been saying that for the camera, it really seemed sincere.  Then I saw a Biography episode about her and thought this is a really remarkable woman.  With all she's done: conquering country music as a woman (and taking on controversial issues while doing so), forging a career on TV and on Broadway and giving back to her fans, I thought I'd love to have lunch with her and just shoot the breeze.  Another perso i'd like to do the same with – Dolly Parton. 

By the way, I love your avatar.  Given that you're such a fan of a country music superstar like Reba, I can understand why you chose the picture you did.  Stana truly looks good in anything.

The movie I was talking about is called I Do (But I Don't).  It's available on Amazon for a VERy affordable price (i think I paid no more than $5 for it since Lifetime discontinued making copies of it since it was made in 2004) if you want to buy it.  Not sure if it's available from Netflix or Blockbuster.  The writing isn't so good and the plot a bit thin, but Dean is INCREDIBLE!

One of the people I would like to see already happened: Dina Meyer ("The Mistress Always Spanks Twice")… what can I say? I like redheads Laugh

Others I'd like to see:

- Jewel Staite (maybe a doctor, since she already played a doctor on Stargate: Atlantis or just someone tied in with the victim)
- Ashley Scott (she is very pretty and a very good actress, especially in Jericho)
- Kevin Smith (Jersey boy, can do a cameo basically as the Silent Bob character who gets chased away from a crime scene by Beckett)

As for some of the other suggestions:

Alan Tudyk got picked up for the "Rockford Files" remake show, so he's probably unavailable right now.
David Duchovney is still doing Californication and unless it's a big role in the episode, he tends to be against doing guest appearances (so a cameo is pretty much out)… it also depends on shoot schedules, too.

Just a couple more names to throw into the wish list hat.

I've seen Stana's scenes in The Spirit on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v…..R4FaY9ufdY) and she never ceases to impress me everytime with that voice, the over-the-top walk, the goofy looks she gives her boss and The Spirit, the electra complex comment about a girl being upset because she lost her daddy, and the two references to Morgenstern making detective! Awesome foreshadowing!
 

I'd love to ask her how she came up with the accent if I ever meet her.  I know she loved working with the director and Dan Lauria. 

It's funny because I was thinking today about jokes that Nathan might play on Stana on set, like suggesting they reach out to Detective Morgenstern at another precinct for help, introducing her to two friends of his, Mr. Morgan and Mr. Stern, doing the accent and saying over a body at a crime scene "Shouldn't he kinda oughta be dead?" (one of my favorite quotes), or bringing up electra complex as motive.  Just little jokes to keep her on her toes.  I can't wait for the outtakes (or Misdemeanors) on the Season 2 DVDs to see how they all break each other up!

I just watched Stana's part on 24 and really enjoyed it though it looks like she put on a little weight for the part.  She still looks fabulous though.  I also saw Waitress and Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-Long Blog that Nathan was in.  So it's been a what-they-did-before-they-were-on-Castle weekend!

I Can't wait till the DVD comes out either!! Even though I have Season 1 (and 'Heat Wave') everytime I see the DVD in stores I get all excited! lol

I've been reading a series of books The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare (City of Bones, City of Ashes…) and I got all excited about a characters last name  Morgenstern…haha instantly thought of Stana and everytime I read the name I smile a bit Crazy
