Goodie, I like your suggestion of Christina Applegate. I even liked the show she had briefly called Jessie. Don't forget, Ryan's got Jenny, and Esposito has a thing for Lanie. Maybe she could flirt with Castle, who initially responds, then hears Beckett's smooth, sultry, beautiful voice from across the bar and is totally captivated, forgetting about the smart, blonde Christina who is flirting with him. To him, everything else in the world disappears while the lovely, beautiful Beckett sings. As for her, she begins by singing (Dream a Little Dream, Fever, or maybe even Take My Breath Away) to everyone in the bar, then when she sees that she's got Castle's attention, she sings only to him. She puts her heart and soul into the short performance, trying to convey all the feelings that she can't, and is too afraid to put into words. When she's finished, Castle picks his bottom jaw up off the floor, and Beckett looks right into his eyes briefly, then looks away and hurries nervously off stage.
Whew! Sorry, lost my head for a second there.
My other comment was that I like the Jonathan Frakes idea too. Anyone ever seen the Civil War miniseries he was in called North & South? That reminds me, James Read would be great too. That is a man who ages well.
scene….soooo cute! I'd soooo love that to happen! or at least something like that![]()
Here's the fan fic I typed up last night based on this idea: http://castletv.net/forums/get…..siren-song

Same Scene,Different Song – How about Why Don't You Do Right? as sung by Jessica Rabbit in the night club in Who Framed Roger Rabbit – We KNOW that Beckett has the Red Dress (and the amazing looks) to pull this off. Nev, it looks to me like you were thinking of this scene when you wrote yours.

OfflineOh I've no doubt Beckett can pull off Jessica Rabbit's dress, I just am not familiar with the song. So I picked one that I think would fit her voice, is sensual, and could communicate what they're both reluctant to put into words. It's been years since I've seen Roger Rabbit. You, however, are obviously a fan, judging by your user name?

OfflineHm, let's see, let's see…
-Tim Roth, an excellent villain. Looks like Fox is gonna f*** up Lie to Me anyway so.
-Anthony LaPaglia, who did not love him in Without a Trace?
-Hugh Laurie, need I say more? He is awesome
-Robert Vaughn & David McCallum, the men from U.N.C.L.E. together again would be nice
-and if I really could pick anyone, Mick Jagger & Keith Richards. They are the Gods of Rock & Roll.
Another person I would like to see do a guest spot on Castle would be Stana's co-worker from "The Spirit", Jaime King (who was also in Sin City).
As for people like Neil Patrick Harris, Hugh Laurie and some others, they are on shows on other networks and the networks tend not to play nice and share (although I'd love to see them on the show as well).
Ashes to ashes,

Offlinei'm not sure if people mentioned it here, but it's kinda chiche, but like a bones/castle crossover?? i know ppl (including me) aren't fans of Bones anymore, but i'd only watch it for Castle, and don't you think they'd produce great lines??? but i'm 100% sure the networks wouldn't do that
