It's just reruns during the winter break. We should be getting episode 12 on Jan. 11th.

Alot of shows don't always have new episodes around the holidays.

Don't know why, but that seems to just be the way it is.

It's because there (in the case of Castle) are only 22 episodes in the season. If they plan to show a new episode every single week then the show would run from September 21st-February 15th, which is a very short run. Most shows usually try to end their season between late March-late May, since renewals get announced in May.

It's because there (in the case of Castle) are only 22 episodes in the season. If they plan to show a new episode every single week then the show would run from September 21st-February 15th, which is a very short run. Most shows usually try to end their season between late March-late May, since renewals get announced in May.

Exactly! Though I'm disappointed there aren't going to be any new episodes for awhile, I'm also glad they're dragging it out a little to make it last. I'm much happier looking forward to new Castles after the holidays than being sad with nothing to watch! Soo worth the wait. Smile

I'm down for 9999999+ more episodes…but I think I'm pushing it. ;) Just a little.

Although on a side note, my other favorite show Glee isn't airing again until April. Bummer. :/ So I'm definately glad Castle is airing in Jan and not April as well. Ha.
