I'm a long time fan of Nathan Fillion, and a new fan of Castle.

 

About a month ago I began watching Castle from S1E1 with my wife and we noticed that there is always a lot of the color red in every episode. Is this a M Night Shyamalan thing by the director?

 

Does anyone have the inside info on this?

Given each episode has a different director anything like that isn't likely to be a director decision, but it's an interesting question

Just taking a guess and saying that red is such an amazing color on Stana Katic that I've often thought they used it in the first season for that reason alone.  Nathan wore a lot of red and purple as well (sometimes together in shirt/tie combos).

There has been a lot of discussion  about how the colors Beckett wears tend to reflect her mood and mental state this season.  Lots of darker colors and neutrals in the early part of the season.  Whenever she's worn red this season it's caused a lot of buzz.  Happy buzz.
