I have been reading alot of the posts on this site and was wondering if this would be done by the writers of the show. I am talking about this happening in the 1st episode or during the season. So I wanted to throw this out there.

Castle walks into the 12th precinct and asks Esposito and Ryan when Beckett is at and they tell him she is getting coffee. He goes to the coffee room. He walks up to Beckett who is making herself a cup of coffee. Castle walks up to her and says Katherine Beckett I have something very important I need to say to you. He takes her hand(s) and says, I have wanted to say this to you for a while but was afraid to. Kate (1 second pause) I LOVE YOU!!!!   He says it has became crystal clear to me when you were shot and I had thought I had lost you that I have loved you ever since I first met you but wasn't ready to acknowledge it. I don't know if you are ready to hear this from me or that you have any feelings for me at all but I had to tell you this because if I had lost you or have something happen to you I don't know what I would do. You don't need to say or do anything but I had to tell you this. He then walks out of the room and leaves the precinct or it fades to black with the camera still on Beckett and the episode ends.

What would Kate do? Would Castle have the nerve to do this or say the words? Would the writers do this during the 1st episode or anytime during this season? Would this be a surprising twist for the 1st episode of the new season.  How would all the fans think and feel about it?
