it's on TNT, watched the first 3 episodes, loving it. The tune is a little like castle and bones. Stared Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander. Helps with my OCD.

I also watch this and love it. What I am finding lately is that there are a lot more shows with woman as strong leads and not prancing around in a skimpi bikini (aka Grace Park) as a side kick. Kyra Sedgwick also does an excellent job as The Closer.

I like the Closer a lot. Which reminds me, Brenda got married and it hasn't slowed her down any. (hint,hint)
I love Isles. She's so adorable.

I love Isles. She's so adorable.
Annie Walker on USA's Covert Affairs is another great female character. I am getting really hooked on that show.

I also watch that. I am enjoying it. I missed last week's episode and DVRd this one and have to catch up.
I love Brenda. She doesn't take any crap. I love when she goes head to head with Capt. Raydor.

The last episode of R&I had a lot of Angie Harmon in skimpy outfits, maybe it's a trend. Sasha Alexander is cute as hell and as long as Rizzoli's horrible mother stays away it's pretty entertaining.
The Closer is also still going strong after six seasons, the new arc with the Chief position is very well done.
Covert Affairs is OK but the leads Annie and Jai are just so bland and boring. All the other characters, especially Joan and Auggie are far more interesting then the two main characters in the show. That can't be a good thing.
September sees Sons of Anarchy returning and that new HBO show on 1920's Atlantic City which looks very promising.

Yes they have. I know for a fact that The Closer is the hightest rated cable show of all times, AND Rizzoli & Isles has twice beaten it in the ratings. That has never happened. Those two shows are on fire. The Closer is on everyday at 2:00pm on TNT. I have two episodes dvrd and I can't wait to watch them later. I just love that Brenda Lee Johnson. I love her southern accent when she says "thank you, thank you very much". She gets her way.
I recently read that the actress that plays Isles is pregnant with her second child.
How many more episodes do we have till the season finale? Last season they aired a few new episodes in December. I have to remember to watch out for that.

Sasha tweeted that they are done filming and that the baby would come way before they start filming Season 2. So I am assuming she is about 5-6 months now. They film only for 5 months. I think they go back to work in March.
I know that Rizzoli & Isles only have 10 episodes this season. They have 3 left including this coming Monday's episode. The Closer I think has 15 episodes.
I love Brenda and her FBI hubby. They are so sweet and funny.

What I love most about The Closer is how when Brenda came to the LAPD her squad didn't like her. They actually all tried to transfer to different departments. Lt. Flynn actually was there to spy on her for Commander Taylor. Then over time they have come to love her. They respect her, and they are protective of her. In the episode where the immigration officer had a woman hostage and Brenda ran up close and he threatened her, her entire squad was yelling for her to get back. Then after Fritz shot him, he ran over to Brenda and grabbed her by the arms and started shaking her for getting so close.

I just started watching "The Closer" this summer because it's before Rizzoli & Isles. So I have some catching up to do. But I love her and Fritz. So cute. And I loved that episode. I love the contrasting personalities of her team. They make me laugh. I love the episodes with the flight attendants. Throughout the episode, I was laughing. The blue pill was a hoot.
If you are on Twitter, follow Sasha @SashaAlexander1. She's really sweet and answers questions from fans. I think she answered 3 or 4 or maybe even five of my tweets already. I think she's in Europe now with her family. She is married to Sofia Loren's son. Did you know that Sasha is half Serbian and half Italian? She's fluent in both languages just like Stana.

You should definitely try to catch up with the Closer because the way the show first premiered to how they are with each other now is one of the reasons that it's so fantastic. If you have an opportunity to record it-it's on everyday on TNT at 2pm in the afternoon. We are in the first few seasons by now, but eventually they will start with the first season again.
Also, Commander Taylor hated Brenda when she first came up from Atlanta. Everyone did because the LAPD brought in a new chief without promotoing (Taylor) from within. In the first one or two seasons he was out to get her. He caused a lot of problems for her. He got promoted to Commander so he would drop allegations he made against her. Now he seems to like her and help her out. It's nice to see how far the squad has come with eachother. I love how they don't treat Fritz/FBI nice. Taylor planted Flynn in Brenda's squad to try to find out any dirt on her and to cause her problems whenever he could. Then something happened and she stuck up for Flynn and he basically said F.U. to Taylor and applied for a permanent transfer in Brenda's squad.
I love how Flynn and Provenza are always getting into trouble. Yes, I loved the episode with the flight attendants. I loved how one of them and Brenda kept saying "thank you, no thank you, no thank you" to each other.

When Sasha said the baby will be born before way before they start filming, I would say that she will have the baby in December. Am not sure. But she sounded really ecstatic about it. She thanks all the fans for tweeting their congratulations and said they are excited.
