My attention was drawn to picture #9.  I see surprise from Castle, smile of recognition from guest star character, and the I-am-about-to-be-jealous look from Becket.  Let's hope Kate can use her big girl words this time around and make it clear that Rick is her man instead of huffing and making everyone else divine her emotions

Check out picture 8 and tell me Nathan's too heavy! It appears that they are finally dressing him in clothes that fit! He looks really hot and healthy in that picture!

Too heavy is maybe too much but just compare season 1 to now and that's just 3,5 years in between.. he's definitely gained some pounds but he's far from being heavy or even fat.. he always was a big and broad guy but he's also getting older and few people can fight that.

oznute, I agree! As for getting older, we all are. But I think, he looks even more attractive now at 40 than he did at his Firefly times…

I get this feeling that this character will end-up being more of a resource to Beckett than competition. I would love if there were a few moments where Beckett acted a lil like a protective girlfriend.

Who doesn't love a lil bit of jealous Beckett? Even though they are not a couple I think that she is just natural posessive of him being her guy.

I too get the feeling that the guest star will not be an actual threat to Beckett.  Hopefully we will get to see more back story on Castle through this mysterious Sophia.  Maybe Beckett will even get to tease Castle with it, like the two ladies go out for drinks to talk about him in the middle of the episode. 

I do definitely expect Beckett to be jealous at first before she figures out the reality of whatever Castle's past relationship with the woman is (or until her senses kick in and she remembers he is madly in love with her).  She is definitely a possessive/jealous kind of person and I bet Castle likes that about her.  He would be so happy if she acted out like that. 

At this point Beckett might just give a simple "Yes" and we would get to see Castle choking on the humorous quip he was about to make to avoid the awkwardness of having to not admit their relationship.

My my friends just south of the border would say, "muy interesteste". Being as Beckett is such a big Castle fan you'd think she would catch on to this pretty fast. However, it's pretty clear once you step back and compare the Derrick Storm synopises to the Nikki Heat synopisses that Castle has a very different relationship with Beckett.
