I have to agree BeckettBrigade a little. I think that Johanna Beckett was murdered for a reason by someone close to Kate. The other two murders were done, in my mind, as a sort of practice round. Being the victims resembled each other, the killer would have wanted to know what he or she was dealing with for when they went after Johanna. Where to strike her that would cause harm, how to make her suffer, and where to place the final blow ending it all. I'm still not certain as to why she was killed but that's my theory of how she was murdered.

I agree, Castle absolutely did do the right thing, but Beckett might not be able to see it like that right away. He's picked at a scab and it's not going to be easy for her to look at the whole deal objectively when the wound's been opened again. She'll come around, though, and see that what he did was in her best interest :)

And yes, I love the way you think haha! I can't even begin to imagine what he'll try in order to 'win her back'. I mean, he's already thoughtful with the whole buying a coffee machine, bringing her coffee and a bear claw (last episode) etc. just because he can, so, like you said, how will he be when he's really in trouble? Oh, the possibilities are delicious.

TIM: Season 2's opening scene finds Det. Beckett more than a little annoyed at Castle's celebrity as he celebrates the release of his new book with a story in Cosmopolitan… and two women dressed in skimpy police uniforms. It seems Beckett is a little tired of being seen not just as a seasoned professional but as Castle's potential love interest. Unfortunately for the character, that's precisely why she's on the show.

I love me some spoilers! I can't wait to hear more details as they develop, hopefully they give us some teasers as they film… to whet the appetite, so to speak :D . . . not that mine needs any 'whetting', I'm dying as it is haha!

They're talking about the first Nikki Heat novel which (if I remember right) is Heat Wave. If you recall, Castle was working on the last chapter in Episode 10, so it makes sense that it'll be released come the beginning of Season 2… especially with it being released online for viewers to enjoy.

Does anyone know if they shoot the episodes in order, and how long it usually takes to shoot one whole episode?
