Season 2 Episode 210 – One Man’s Treasure

Summary:

When a murdered man is found stuffed in the garbage chute of an apartment building and two women arrive to ID his body — one his wife and the other his fiancé — Castle and Beckett have their hands full keeping the women from killing each other as they work to peel back the layers of the victim's double life. Was it a jilted woman, corporate espionage, or a much darker secret that led to his demise?

I'd love to see something like Martha try to be helpful and cook the turkey since Castle is out on a case and she winds up blowing up the oven.

Ooh interesting… and we know Castle can cook a turkey from "A Chill Goes Through Her Veins"…

Although I'd love to see Martha blow up the oven ROFL … Castle would probably come home to Alexis with her head in her hands and turkey bits all over the walls :P I could hear it already, "At least it's not lime shards this time!"

I don't know if Beckett would like her dad to socialize with Martha, him being a recovering alcoholic and Martha being … Martha. But, maybe if Martha knew about the alcoholic part up front, she would put a bit of restrainment on her intake of fluids, – she's charming enough without it.

oh I would def. like to have Beckett over at Castle's for Thanksgiving. I can imagine that Beckett normally gets to spend the holiday alone? Because she didn't seem to have like a "regular" relationship with her Dad – that call she made seemed to me like the first call in years…so of course as Castle learns that she would be alone, he invites her over, she declines, but somehow he talks her into coming :D

I wouldn't say they haven't spoken in years but rather weeks or months. I imagine they have the same relationship I have with my own father. You love the other person and know that the love you back. You're both leading different lives and so you don't necessarily talk every week. You try and talk at least once a month and make sure you don't go more than four months in between visits.

Beckett probably has a strained relationship with her father.

Look at it logically, his wife was murdered and the killer was never found. Now, his daughter (might even be his only child) runs around with a badge and a gun trying to stop killers from killing again. Who knows if she'll end up injured or even killed. I think this is what would strain their relationship. He's worried about loosing her as well, so maybe he distances himself…

According to TVfanatic.com:

Castle has landed a pair of talented, beautiful guest stars.

On the November 23 episode of the show, Abigail Spencer (most recenetly seen on Mad Men) will play a murder victim’s fiancée.

There's just one problem: Perrey Reeves (Mrs. Ari on Entourage) turns up as the victim’s wife. As you can imagine (and get excited for, fellas), catfighting ensues!

I read a fanfic on this very topic…….www.fanfic.com   called Martha's Evening….it was a Thanksgiving story and it was great!
