Wonder if Castle will mention it? Crazy I could see that, "What, did I miss your shopping trip with Det. Beckett?"

I don't think its a haircut.  It does have a lot more fluff to it plus she doesn't part her hair like she normally did in previous episodes.

Looking forward to next week's episode.  This episode has the potential to have great lines for both Beckett and Castle.  Castle seems to be having a lot of fun in the episode.  I noticed Abigail Spencer is one of the wives.  She was great in Mad Men.

Just an idea (that I don't believe in at all, but anyway):

Alexis dressed as mini-Beckett… in some shows from the US I've seen something called a mother-daughter show, where mothers and daughters dress up identical (Gilmore Girls: Lorelai and her mother, comes to mind) – and since Alexis' mother isn't in town, she brought Beckett instead…

…no, of course not, but it would have been a chance for some Alexis-Beckett time.

Or maybe it is "Dress as your hero"-day at school.

I wish I knew how to quit you.
