Was starting to wonder where you are – and yes, fantastic ratings result – I'm so excited – think the cast and crew are too!

now these ratings prove when dancing with the stars is over we can handle the job all by ourselfs. im loving these ratings too makes me happy at night and not to worry so much about the show being canceled or not getting a season 3. we are all proving to ABC that castle needs to stay on air.

i've found a few others who watch castle in my city, my friends parents are big fans and now starting to watch Nathan's older stuff as well.
How much of a factor are online views? i usually watch again on Tuesdays on the ABC site, but the past couple of weeks i've been so deep into a project that i've barely put aside time to watch on mondays…
Congrats to the Castle team on showing that DWtS wasn't what was bringing viewers in!

Online views matter a good deal! ABC watches that info very carefully but make sure you use a genuine source – either iTunes, Hulu or the ABC's own episode viewer. Other (illegal) sites don't help and actually harm in the long run

Yeah, i only use the ABC site. funny how they give me commercials for a local company (worst commercial ever made btw).
Thanks for the info, and i should be finishing up my project tonight and i'll be able to schedule more time to watch Castle.

ABC sounds really happy with the way Castle is doing – here's their press info from Ep 10 week.
"Castle" (10:00-11:00 p.m.)
Achieving a season-high with young adults, ABC's "Castle" bested NBC's "Jay Leno" in the 10 o'clock hour by 5.8 million viewers (10.3 million vs. 4.5 million) and by 93% in Adults 18-49 (2.7/7 vs. 1.4/4). In fact "Castle" earned its highest Adult 18-49 number in nearly 7 months and attracted its second-biggest audience in more than 8 months – since 5/4/09 and 3/16/09, respectively.
* One of TV's biggest gainers in the 10 o'clock hour this season, ABC's "Castle" is generating substantial increases over its first-reported numbers through DVR playback, picking up an average 1.8 million viewers and an additional 5-tenths of an Adult 18-49 rating point (+21%) from the initially reported Live + Same Day Numbers to the Live + 7 Day DVR finals.
* "Castle" greatly improved the hour year to year for ABC over an original "Boston Legal" on the year-ago November Sweep night by 2.1 million viewers and by 29% in Adults18-49 (8.2 million and 2.1/6 on 11/24/08).

That's a really great press release they sent out. And the numbers are definately awesome. It's great to see that "Castle," attracted it's second biggest audience. Thanks for posting it here.

I agree, that's great news!
Glad to see the cast/crew's efforts are being appreciated! 
Some more TV spots would be nice… although I guess they should be given to the shows that *really* need saving…
It's like Castle is the kid that consistently brings home A's on it's report card, and Mom & Dad don't notice until it brings home a B+!
A-students need some positive reinforcement too! This press-release is like a high five, though. Good to see.

I agree that more TV spots would be nice.
I just wanted to add that no show is more important to me/us than Castle. So if it means throwing ANY OTHER SHOW under the bus to save Castle -I'm all for it.
Campaigning for more promotion is always good as long as it's done in a thoughtful manner.
