Loved it!
-"Work wife" and her not denying it (completely)
-The coffee spilling (and Castle's glances downwards)
-Tweeting
-The dog
-The painting story
-Both Beckett and Castle wanting a happy ending
-Martha insisted Castle needs to kiss Beckett and him not denying it!

We got another coffee scene – could it be more opposite than last time. Coffee spilling instead of coffee making. When they crashed I just "WHA??" out loud, and sat stunned with my jaw on the floor. Totally new, out of the blue. And the way they both reacted. Castle "I brought you coffee…" very apologizing and insecure voice. And Beckett – so calm, just "Thank you Castle". No anger, no yelling. What does this tell us? Beckett is the master of self control?
By the way – coffee couldn't be very hot though, since she didn't get burned…
First time we've seen her in white, by the way?

the coffee spill scene was awesome! haha. beckett & castle's reactions were both priceless, i can't help but watch the scene over and over again :D
and beckett's reaction when jeremy aka amnesia guy said 'this thing would be easier, knowing why' & when she & castle where having a talk about how jeremy's situation sucks, shows how amazing stana acts :)

Basically yes. Although she was wearing white shirt in the last scenes of "Flowers For Your Grave" episode, but she had a vest on it.

I guess now we know why.
The foreshadowing in this episode was awesome but also made me a bit apprehensive. Maybe because more than any other couple I want C&B to have a happily ever after. Together.
I love the look Castle gives Beckett when he says "Maybe it's the writer in me but I'm hoping for a happy ending."

I'd like to know the title of the book that Castle said he'd like to read again for the 1st time. I've got a terrible cold and a missing remote, so without some help, I'll never get this title figured out.

That look was so sweet. It's those little looks that really pull the show together and make it seem so much less like a show and more like real life.

when I saw Castle with the dog I thought – cute, Castle found a dog.
when Beckett saw Castle with the dog she thought – kneeling on one knee, proposal.
-shows what Beckett has on her mind :D

I loved Martha's mocking of Chet's laugh.
And Esposito showing up behind Castle (20:30), making him jump a bit.
|
OK Castle, but it's accompany and observe, and not participate and annoy, got it?

Great episode.
Favorite line is when Castle tells Beckett as a matter of fact that she is his 'work wife'. (It sounded like he has been thinking hard on that one)
My favorite scene is Castle spilling the coffee on Beckett. First it caught me by surprise on what happen and I laughed even though it could have hurt Beckett. After the spill and as Castle looked at what he did, then I was waiting for a funny line from him. It was over as quick as it happened and I said to my daughter, I was expecting that Castle would have said, 'Do you need help with that?' or 'What can I do to help?'
There seemed to be a perfect time for one of his lines? Does anyone else think so?
P.S. Theresa and Nalissa great avatars.

i totally squealed because lucy (the puppy) looked exactly like my puppy. so cute.
also, as it cut to the "coffee scene" i specfically said outloud "oh, that's a new color." because she'd never really been in white before at least not that obviously. i should've known that was going to lead to something spilling on her, which was so my favourite scene. i loved how calm she was. so funny.
and was it just me or did i hear a line at the end that was like "one of them's got 15 years of baggage, marriage, divorce. the other's on a first date." and then it goes into them both wanting it to work out. for me, that just totally paralleled, what with castle being having been divorced twice in the last fifteen years. perhaps i read way too much into that.

No, I think you read exactly what was intended in the lines. Our writers are clever about hinting about the Castle-Beckett relationship and this episode had more than the usual number of double meanings throughout it.

Such a solid episode. Funny moments, touching moments, and never could guess who the killer was.
Everyone has pretty much posted my favorite lines and scenes. But was anyone else stunned to see Rider Strong from Boy Meets World?

I think you were absolutely supposed to draw that parallel.

You are too funny! And it's so true!
Re: Rider Strong, I kept cracking jokes about him the entire time! "Maybe he wouldn't be in this position if he was still in contact with Cory!"

I also have to say, I love that Jermery didn't get his memory back in the end. It gives the show more credit instead of it coming back all of a sudden.

The Cast of Amontillado by Poe. Or anything by Stephen King. :0)
