'Castle' scoop: Alyssa Milano charms Nathan Fillion!

Further proof that Castle is growing into something of a hit: The guest stars are getting more recognizable!
Ex-Charmed sorceress Alyssa Milano has signed on to play a former love interest of Nathan Fillion’s title character, sources confirm to me exclusively.
Here’s the sitch: Castle reconnects with Kyra (Milano) on her wedding day and sparks fly. Beckett (Stana Katic) picks up on the obvious connection between the two of them, setting up a fun little love triangle.
Milano’s episode, titled “A Rose for Everafter,” shoots next week and will air in early 2010.
Castle recently received a full-season pickup from ABC.

If they meet again at the Kyra character's wedding how can she qualify as a love rival for Beckett when Kyra is committing herself to another person right then and there? Or would it just be a wedding of some common friend that they meet at? That'll certainly be interesting. Maybe we can see more of Beckett's past love interests also, or even a brand new rival for Castle. Equal opportunity.

Alyssa Milano wouldn't be my first choice of Castle's love interest but she would be ranked very high. Good job ABC.

It is great for the show and Castle that we will see how Beckett reacts this time around. Hopefully she will be more vocal with her feelings towards Castle and he figures it out. (Us guys need so much help in that area.)

True, but some guys know that the girl has feeling toward the guy, and the guy does nothing about it. An or the guy just got divorse and isn't ready for dateing or anything yet, just friends with the girl is good for now for him. And yes I'm speaking from personal experiance here.
But anyway back to topic, I'm not sure about Milano's character on the show. Have to see how it plays out.

I just hope they don't drag this out for all that long. Jealous Beckett will be interesting and God knows Stana's potrayal will be utterly amazing but love triangles get old quickly for me.
I'm not sure how I feel about Alyssa Milano. I have never been a huge fan of hers.

Maybe the groom will be the murder of the week, freeing Alyssa Milano's character to be available for Castle?
While she's not my favorite actress in the world, she does have a fan base, so maybe she'll bring in some more new viewers to Castle.
