HOWEVER, I did find a couple other VERY good similar artists while trying to search for it:

1) Jenni Alpert
2) Regina Spektor
3) Amy Stroup

These guys are GOOD!!

Don't think the last song is Golden State. The song definitely had a female lead…and Golden State is a band of 4 guys.

Maybe the band had a new vocalist? All I know is my inside source AND the ABC have both provided the same artist/song

It's possible it's wrong but this is the info I have.

It's driving me crazy that I can't find this song anywhere!!! Pretty sure it's not Golden State. It's a female voice and different style. It's more like Tristan Prettyman or Katie Herzig. I think I was able to catch more of the lyrics, but no luck on the search engines.

It could be indeed that it is not out yet. There was a song from Lipstick Jungle that I LOVED, and I could never, ever find it. Anywhere. Because I read somewhere that it might have been made just for that, and they never released it? Not sure, but it could indeed be possible. It also could be possible that Golden State had a guest vocalist. Lots of groups will do it if it seems to suit the song.

Ok, I heard the last song this morning on the satalight radio this morning when I went to work out so I had my trainer go and look up the name of it and it's called "Bottle It Up" by Sara Bareilles. That is the song that was played as Alyssa Milano was leaving the precinct.
I hope this answers all the questions!!

So sources are correct, but the song hasn't been released yet…. This reminds me of 'Everybody Loves Me'.
