Season 2 Episode 213 – Sucker Punch

Summary:

While investigating the death of an Irish mobster, Beckett and Castle uncover a local turf war that may be connected to both a late-night infomercial guru and an international drug smuggling operation. But the case turns agonizingly personal when evidence emerges that the killer they're chasing may have had a hand in Beckett's mother's murder

Will Beall wrote the season 1 episode of Castle "Home is Where the Heart Stops"

Thomas J Wright is a very experienced Director and has many credits to his name inluding episodes of NCIS, One Tree Hill, Bones, Criminal Minds, Smallville, Firefly and much more including numerous movies.

I don't think these photo's are at all spoilerish, but be warned they are from filming on December 3, 2009 from the Downtown LA location set.

And I was just in downtown LA the previous day!  Just missed them.  I'm assuming they are filming Ep. 13 now, but I guess these photos could be from 12 too.

I strongly suspect that there will be an "unresolved situation" of some kind in this episode to provide a "mini-cliff hanger" to get people to come back to watch the show when it returns in March.  OR, perhaps there will be a major change of some kind in the Castle-Beckett relationship–which would also play out like a mini-cliff hanger.

How do you guys know its going to be off until March? I haven't seen that yet.

What's ABC going to show? Since V and Flashforward are gone until March. But I guess we don't want Castle to have to go up against the Olympics either.

ABC hasn't released their Spring schedule yet just V and Flashforward.  Yeah a hiatus is going to happen.  Eleven episodes left in 5 months span there's really nothing ABC can do about it.  ABC has other shows that they could air when Castle is on hiatus or air reruns.  I would rather have a two month hiatus and then no repeats rather than several weeks of repeats.

Reading the posts seem to imply that it would be off in March. But I've seen discussions on other sites that it might go through March and ABC might show something else. Mid season replacement like Castle was last year. I thought maybe I had missed an annoucement.

I think the wait people were referring to is the gap between the upcoming ep 11 and then the 3 wk wait till ep 12 in Jan – unless I missed something?
