Me either Moby Dick I have invested my time in shows of the 60's – 2010 and it's the same writing on the wall. The adults of today didn't go through all the old shows of decades of will they or won't they. I am not getting younger either!
I thought what you and I are saying is get them kissing not in bed! Maybe I am not reading my own words but I thought I wrote have them hold hands, say they are interested in each other, a hug is fine but a kiss is better one kiss it isn't gonna kill us to see it or the show!

Let Beckett confide in Lanie first. And maybe her dad? That way you can have progress for us without going too fast. And Castle could have a talk with his mom and Alexis… all in different episodes. ( 4 episodes) Castle and Beckett need to talk more also, get to know each other more on a personal level before she would admit anything to Castle. So get them talking late night after a case is closed. (2 episodes in between) Looking forward to when Beckett start flirting back… because you need to have a period of that… and she would be much more subtle and clever about it than Castle. (4 episodes) – which brings me to end of season 2 for… ! Or, with a few filler episodes where we don't get much progress, but wonderful hints like the cherries or heated fights, we get somewhere in season 3… You need to drag it out, because the dance is so fun, but we also need progress to stay hooked. And when they get together, you must step up to the challenge of keeping the banter and tension – for which I think the characters of Beckett and Castle are perfectly created – you have an opportunity to create the show that other shows are measured against. Instead of saying – "this went wrong in Moonlighting", let the future say "they did this so well on Castle".

Maybe I'm weird, but I enjoy the UST more than the payoff, so I don't feel any need for their relationship to progress to stay interested.

hmmm interesting, i agree with you sarah. in my opinion they are not ready, at least Castle is not, because we got to see Beckett realizing that she is really falling for him after the "he's all yours." and now she is in the awkward place, and Castle just dreaming about the bridesmaid's pictures. so i think that's why Beckett agreed to go on a date, because she can see it very clearly and Castle is not there yeti.
