what scares me is that according to jose's tweet episode 12 will make us squeal and episode 13 will shake the castle-verse.  having those two things in a row either means something really great or something really tragic.  Shock

And what this likely means is that episode 12 will lay the ground work for the B-C relationship and episode 13 will likely have some unresolved situation (possibly around both the relationship AND Beckett's Mom's murder) and it will make us want to pull our hair out because we'll have to wait until March to see any resolution.  We'll all be groaning and moaning after 13 because we'll have to wait at least 6 to 8 weeks before we get to see new episodes of Castle.

sadly, you're probably right.  no one is going to want to be around me during that hiatus.  Tongue

That's GREAT news, Admin.  I thought I'd read somewhere that after episodes 12 and 13, the "second season (as in the back nine episodes) " would begin in March.  However, I can't remember where I saw that (although the place I normally read about Castle is HERE on this site, and YOU'D know if that was so).  I sure as heck hope we do NOT have to wait until March. 

Possibly, I saw "March" resumption for other ABC series and was "presuming" March would be the start of the back nine for Castle too, because there are several other series (such as Flash Forward) that have their "2nd season" resuming in March. 

Thanks for setting us straight.

I'm not saying it WON'T be the case, just that there's nothing to indicate that that is the case, I will look into it though and try to clarify what's likely to happen.

That DOES make sense. Season finales come around 2nd week of May-  so with the back nine, that means it would run from March to May.

From what I remember Jose saying is that he wrote episode 14 for February sweeps…

You guys remember the shooting range scene in "Home Is Where the Heart Stops" right?

Well he said multiply that by 20 and you get episode 13. 

But you know Jose and his teasing.  LOL Will Beall who wrote "Home",  also wrote "Sucker Punch".

He also said he saw the final cut for episode 11 (Monday's episode) and that it was  "rockin".

DRAT, and I was HOME last night, but didn't check our chat site.  I suspect that means this wasn't a "planned chat" but that he just showed up online.  I must admit, I think it's super cool that ADMIN has created a fansite with enough credibility that the writers of our favorite show (not to mention the actors–think Jon) show up to chat at the fans. Pretty awesome, ADMIN!!!!  I'd pat you on the back, but my arms aren't long enough to reach you.

As I recall, that's where Castle was pretending NOT to be able to shoot well and Beckett was giving him assistance.  She made some comment to him about how to hold his gun (with her arms around him) and then said something like "well we could just cuddle."  I'm thinking THAT'S the comment/concept Jose is talking about with the "times 20" concept…which sounds ROCKIN' HOT to me.
