Last night's new episode "Sucker Punch" was a hit among fans. The numbers were reflected in the ratings with one of the best rated episodes so far. Castle brought in a 2.8/8 in the 18-49 ratings/share demographic and 9.44 million viewers.

Great news. So well deserved for what was probably the best episode yet.

From what I understand there wasn't a run over from The Bachelor so the demo shouldn't drop. I can't wait to get the finals. A 2.8 would be a season high.

Growing its Adult 18-49 audience (2.8/8 – a season high) for its 2nd straight original telecast, ABC’s “Castle” finished a strong second to CBS’ “CSI: Miami” in the 10 o’clock hour, topping NBC’s “Jay Leno” by a best-ever 115% (1.3/3).  The ABC sophomore drama ranked No. 1 in its time slot with Women 18-34 (3.3/9), beating “CSI: Miami” (3.2/9) for the first time ever.

Awsome news ideed!!!

I did my part! I'm brazilian so I could never watch it on TV and help raise the number.

But I'm in Florida for 3 months now (I just got here last sunday) and I already tuned in abc to watch it yesterday!

Now I'm trying to get my brazilian friends who are here with me to watch it too!!

Interesting that Castle gets more viewers behind DWTS but gets a better demo with The Bachelor. I can't wait to see how it does behind Desperate Housewives in March.

ABC has to be happy with the demo bump.

Hehe, I did my part with Castle promotion last Sunday by having a friend over for a mini-marathon off my Season 1 DVD set. She was a Firefly fan already, but hadn't seen Castle before. As expected she was hooked after the first episode and we've already got plans for another Castle Sunday next weekend.

It was a real fun way way to warm up for last night's episode. Bounce2

Looks like this week's episode got the first */8 of the season and the 2.8 was nearly a seaon 2 high…I don't remember what the highest share was during season 1. Bounce yeaaah!!!

The finals are in. Some good news for sure. No run over from The Bachelor so there wasn't a drop in either viewers or the key demo. In fact, viewership went up a bit.

I was wondering how the ratings for that show went. ABC did a good job with the build up, so I was really hoping ratings would be up. Great news! Let's just hope that when it's renewed for a third season ABC doesn't change it's time slot. Seems like it does really well on Mondays at 10. Still, for now, it's awesome news!

The 2.8 is a season high in the key 18-49 demo, Ep 2.3 Inventing the Girl  got adjusted down to 2.2 and Ep 2.6 Vampire Weekend got adjusted down to 2.5 , so 2.8 is a season high!  Yay!  Hopefully it will grow or at least maintain at 2.8!Bounce

According to this week's Entertainment Weekly, Sucker Punch was the 7th most downloaded TV show from ITunes for last week. That's pretty great!
