Remember in the radio interview on Monday Stana said Castle and Beckett poke their noses in each others dates, so both are jealous in this episode. I think Beckett goes to Lanie as she finds out Castle is going on a date and flaunts it in front of her or she reads the article and it lights a fire under her so she goes to Lanie to get a date and Laney is in on this whole thing with Esposito/Ryan with setting them up same time same restaurants with their dates. Epso is setting up Castle to finally see he likes Kate. Beckett is upset Castle is #9 and going on a date with another bachlerette, she is still not admitting to herself or Castle that she likes him more then just to have around the job to lighten it up and it is a little more fun. Castle has yet to admit to anyone even his Mother & daughter that Kate is the one for him, he is in some kind of denial. Maybe this forwards it a little more to set up season finale down the line. I can see Lanie picking up the phone after Beckett leaves and calling Espo and telling her everything is a go, maybe she even calls the fireman to set up the intro that Beckett is going to be calling. Maybe Beckett ends up liking this guy, I hope not but she just might have a few dates with him to give a little back to Castle. Yahoo this is going to be fun! I love the what? What- What!

I like her coats I think it is becoming Beckett's trademark as well as Stana's lol!

One thing I hope the writers don't do when it comes to getting Beckett & Castle together is to give us short scenes of the two, seems like all the cop and cases scenes get the most airtime. I'd be so disappointed if they give us a rushed kiss or touching moment and that be it, just a moment . Like you blink you miss it, did you see that or did I imagine it? I hope they give us time with our characters when it does count and not rush scenes into commercial break or the end of the episode where they go to kiss and we get fade out to credits.

I hope the writers will be compassionate with giving us the right amount of scenes for the good stuff.

In Clip 2- My guess is Beckett is starting to have feelings for Castle- uh oh!! so she sees she needs to meet other men who can distract her from that 'sillyness' -thus "I need to date." – anyone! she doesn't care!!
I don't think Beckett is asking for a date in response to seeing the article.. my guess is- Castle tries to keep the article from her somehow so it doesn't immediately become known she has been linked to him romantically.. ohh I love to speculate.. Also, if Lainie and Kate knew about her being linked at this point I don't think Lainie would have asked "What's gotten into you?" – I think she would say something about Castle! Plus.. from the looks of the youtube clip- she is wearing the same outfit when she goes to look at the guy found murdered in the bed as when she asks Lainie who she's got for a date for her, so it's early in the ep..

It was really endearing how Kate said she wanted loud.. I guess a bit of a load has come off her shoulders after last week – although I know her mum's murder is not completely resolved.. but it is great to see she is wanting to move forward.. was Will 'Loud' ? what if he came back now???..

In Clip 3- Oh dear.. Castle being such a swinging bachelor is causing his little girl problems – well come on Castle! get on with it and fix that situation!!

In clip 4- I love how Esposito seems to know sooooo much about this guy who is a friend of Lainie's.. he is playing it so casual eating his apple while he gives the guy's CV- he must have been paying attention to this friend of Lainie's!! ( or do you think she has given him some info to torture Castle with?) .. Love how Esposito says Dekker has ' rock hard abs' and looks down at Castle's body as he says it! rofl!!!! and.. Ryan on the phone is checking out Castle's lack of abs too!!! ROFLMAO!!! .. I just love to see Castle squirm.. yes he has been upfront in his attraction to Beckett – but .. I am yet to see him really reveal the depth of his feelings for her- if he is even aware of it yet.. I don't know!! but like someone on this forum said Castle's scared of screwing things up with Beckett so he doesn't want to act on anything yet.. so in the meantime, it is great to see him squirm..

I wonder what upsets Castle more- that Beckett is going on a date? or that the guy she is going on a date with is a chisled good looks/ rock hard abs firefighter?? – Castle being the one that Beckett has to tell to butch up or man up!! rofl!! ohhh I can't wait!!! When Beckett gets the phone call from the ' Hot Fireman' – [ohhh the pun!!! ]she is wearing a different outfit so must be the next day.. wow.. Lainie is the girl to know to get a quick date!!Oh.. and can I just add…… I wish I had a friend like Lainie who could write a prescription like that for me!!!!

I don't think she is putting on a show for Castle here – I think she genuinely wants to go out with a hot guy and have a great night out…and is excited by the prospect of getting out there again- us fans might guess that beneath this eagerness is a fear of the feelings that are developing for Castle – but I do think she is honestly being girly here, flattered by this guy's attention.. this is just my opinion though.. we shall see! hhehee..

If we do get the Castle / Dad story as hinted in upcoming #16 I'd love to see Robert Wagner come on as his father in a future episode(s).

The one thing I hope our writers don't do is have Castle or Beckett have a one night stand with their dates. One of them to go off with the date at the end of this episode. Been there oh so many times with other series, then the so be it couple take forever to get together. I hope our writers don't do that to us, so many here say it is to early for even a kiss or a hug but then one goes off on a one night stand then the show changes a whole entire direction ugh!

Remember Jag nine seasons of the two in love with each other but every single time they had one go off to tell the other one what they felt bam, the person was caught going off with another person. A big example when he is lost at sea and she goes to his apt. is standing in the parking lot and watches as he goes off with another woman and she is left crying in the parking lot. I don't want that for our Kate, or vice versa.

In #12 we find that Beckett is finally admitting to herself she has feelings for Castle they are coming to the surface even though she has tried so hard to hold them down, when will we see Castle's true feelings for Beckett? He doesn't have the same feelings yet that I can see, he admires her, he respects her and he likes her but still we haven't seen his real feelings for her, he seems to still be playing around with his feelings and not quite letting us the viewers know what he feels for Beckett. Thus I am interested in how this episode will close out.
