Just saw this in today's Ausiello Files

Reveal Spoiler

Question: What else can you tell me about the date between Beckett and Men in Trees‘ Scott Elrod on Castle. Does it go well? –Katie
Ausiello: Nope, it’s pretty much a disaster. Beckett ends up running into Castle, who just so happens to be on a date at the same restaurant. And the fact that his date was recently named one of New York’s most eligible bachelorettes only adds to the tension.

The spoiler makes for great tv tension, I can't wait for #12-14 It will be a long three weeks untl we get #12. So much seems to be happening to our couple the ying and yang may go zip or zing!

Omg, it sooooo does. I really, really love that they (see above spoiler, blah blah) and can just SEE it. Can't WAIT. Makes me want to write more fanfiction…or finish what I've started…

speaking of twitter, stana posted this pic the the other day, and she sure is dolled up. maybe these dates both get interrupted by a body? nathan is behind her in the photo, I think.

That is such a fun idea to have Lanie set them both up at the same restaurant. Have Ryan & Eposito with their dates watching from afar too from clear across the restaurant but they could see everything going on between the two tables and Castle & Beckett.
I wonder which couple will leave first Castle or Beckett?
Will they end up at the same table with their dates sizing each other up? Will they end up being left there by their dates lol? Some great episodes coming up. I love the idea that Lanie sets them up hope it happens.
I have always wondered who was supposed to be Beckett's date season 1 episode 9? Also isn't Will still in town they could always recast him since the actor playing him has his own show, would be interesting if Kate came on a date with Will to make Castle jealous thinking they were dating and he didn't even know about it.

Judging by the pictures on Twitter I would guess that the date scene will be towards the beginning of the episode, Beckett gets a call, goes to leave, Castle follows and leaves his date there.

Ohhhh!!! :) thanks for clarifying!! I was starting to wonder if now was a good time to read up on twitter!! I love her dress!!! but.. I think the harsh eyeliner is back.. she still looks gorg but I preferred the softer makeup… but.. just IMO! I cannot wait for this ep.. only a few more weeks to go!!!!

To Doz – I agree with you about the eyeliner and harsher dark tones around the eyes. I think Stana is to young to be having such heavy makeup applied to her eyes, she looks much better with softer tones. The makeup used on set for cameras is one thing but looks like they are applying more in some episodes and then softer in others not sure why. They keep messing with her hair too guess they are trying out new things.

I was beginning to wonder what Twitter pix Sarah was talking about even went over and looked through some of my old pages of tweets to see if I missed #14 photos someone posted and didn't find anything so glad it was the snake and spider ones. I don't want to miss anything -laugh!

my only guess about the makeup would be that she's on a date and felt that heavier/darker makeup was needed as opposed to everyday makeup that she wears to work.

Her hair and make-up was different in every episode of season 1 too, so I don't get why anyone expect it to stay one way…
