As much as I'd love to see them at a game, I don't think it will happen. Castle is pretty good at keeping up with our real life time line (like that fact it is now February). Since baseball season is over it would seem very strange to me if they were at a game. Who knows though… Jose is a super smart dude and he might have figured something out.

I don't think there is any chance of Castle meeting her dad in this episode. The last time I checked IMDB, the actor who played him was only to appear in Sucker Punch thus far so I think we'll be waiting a bit longer on that.

Hehehehe…ah, the clips were just the cheer-up I needed today! I LOVE Beckett's face when Castle is talking to Joe Torre – absolutely classic! That could've been really overplayed, but it was just right – that kind of barely suppressed "OMGOMGOMG" thing. :) Any of us who has met someone we have admired has been there, I think. I know I have! I loved her saying "I have to call my dad!" because it was just another small little nugget of info on their relationship – was she a daddy's girl/tomboy? Does she have siblings? (I don't know why, but I always figured her as the youngest with siblings that were a good number of years older.) Would be interesting to explore further/learn more about.

I think the only thing that could have made the swimsuit/lotion scene more awesome would've been if we'd actually been able to see Beckett's face after Castle said that he had very soft hands. LOL One can only imagine the smirk she had on her face. ;) Even in seeing these few clips, it's cool to me how they're becoming so comfortable with one another that the innuendoes are totally flying and both of them are totally taking them in stride. In earlier episodes, if one of them would quip, the other would seemingly be taken off guard, whether or not they genuinely felt that way. I think the whole "I've gotten used to you pulling my pigtails" thing is really tangibly manifesting itself. It's total tit for tat now, and that's going to make the possibilities for banter between them exponentially sharper, which is only going to lead to more fun, situational dialogue between them. :D

I don't think it was a Firefly shout-out. "Pulling pigtails" is something that has been since grade school and has always been a way for parents to explain to their little girl that a boy isn't being mean, but actually saying he likes you.

And I'd add that although he has tweeted things before they happen on the show, I don't think he's tweeted anything before a promo showing that it's coming has aired. In other words, I have never been spoiled by something WriteRCastle tweeted. He tweeted about the bachelor interview after the promo for that episode had already aired.

I was wondering about the recent tweet about Castle's new neighbor who has a dog…a woman maybe? A potential date? I have to admit…I understand the reason they have them dating others, and it's not as if I think they belong together right now, but the dating other poeple thing drives me CRAZY!

Haha dmcw, sarah's right–that's definitely what it's supposed to do! I must admit I'm getting a little tired of them talking about slash dating other people. However, with the Castle wanting to know who his father is plot I assume we'll be able to get a little away from the strictly dating/jealousy area and delve into Beckett being there for Castle!

The writers haven't let us down yet. For now I trust them to guide us through the dating thing. They seem to find ways to make it funny and yet advance the relationship between Castle and Beckett at the same time.
