It was a really great episode.  Lots of funny stuff.  The spoilers hurt it a little bit for me because those were my biggest laughs when I saw the clips, but there was plenty more funny stuff to go around:

-SUCH great Ryan/Esposito stuff…"It's a little creepy doing this with you breathing down my neck", "look at him following her..who's more whipped me or him?  You bro…hands down", the boot scene (WOW so good)

-The cheerleading stuff with Alexis…priceless Castle expressions

-"looking for something special?" C-yes, B-no

-"no thanks.  I've already got a pair of my own" Beckett about the handcuffs

-Castle's whole reaction to the dominatrix and him apologizing to Beckett

-Beckett comparing Castle to a SAM "Really there's people like that?" with the look she gives Castle

-Beckett's interrogation of Sam I am and Castle's rhyme "In a box with a fox"

-Castle nonverbally telling Alexis not to eat Grandma's dinner

-scene with Jenny at the end…aww cute.

The only thing I didn't get was the whole imaginary boyfriend thing with Beckett, but I liked the scene between Castle and Beckett at the end "Let's start with the day we met…"

Best part was the promo for the 22nd, though.  Love the creepy music, the black and white stuff and Castle calling her "Kate" again!

This show makes me so happy. I flove it.

I was smiling and laughing out loud and nodding my head at the different looks passing between Beckett and Castle.

I'll have to watch it again just to catch all the parts I loved.

Beckett was on fire in this episode. If not needling Castle, going toe to toe with the dominatrix, and the whole interview with Sam.

Ryan and Jenny. Gads, how cute were they? Perfection.

Esposito trying to untie that boot. I was howling. I've never seen a knot like it. Of course who wouldn't be flustered the way she kept tapping him. Classic.

Don't even get me started on that promo. Holy smokes that was crazy intense.

I thought the episode was kind of weak for one big reason;  the final plot twist. not much of a twist if you paid attention to the roommate in the beginning scenes. that was obvious. but moreover how would the roommate have been able to carry her friends body to the park and hang her up by herself? and without being seen? it seems unlikely. not that this show is realistic, but usually there aren't such glaring oversights. It just didn't seem to have the same smooth rythm or flow that it usually does.  I still enjoyed the episode for the most part and found it amusing, but it is definitely not one of my favorites.

Well if she stuffed in her a suitcase, not so hard to leverage it into a car or to drag it out of a car and along the ground (well hard but not impossible, I've tried picking up short of stature friends suitcases before and wondered how they managed)  The tying up to the jungle gym, that one I give you.  Really really hard to believe she could do it,  but not entirely impossible. And adrenaline can give you bursts of strength.

I totally agree! This ep was definitely one of my favorites for sure! Then again, that list is quite long this season… but I digress.

I was laughing my head off, totally giggling like a little kid… really one of my favorite parts of this show is when it makes me laugh. The plot doesn't have to be 100% believable (CSI: anyone? Not real!), and I never really expect an episode of Castle to be like that. It's a fun show, and I think the viewer is supposed to take it as such.

Considering this was Kate Sergeant's (writer of this episode) first episode of anything, I was blown away.

And yes, m_hanh, I know… I was dying over that promo too… that's why I was so eager to share! Can it be the 22nd already? :)

Gotta start looking for spoilers asap.I was going to jump on m_hanh's band wagon about sneak peeks but that promo has me so pumped right now. Castle calling her "kate" again. Wow.

 

The siliva on the pillow clued Castle to the clean up and how long it would have taken and who would have done it.How little blondy got the body hanging from the monkey bars is a tuff one.

Beckett shined throughout the entire episode.She had the boys paying attention with every word she said. lmao. Castle's looks/expressions were priceless in this one.

Was Beckett cluing us in for the 4 ep arc with the boyfriend lines? Was she getting us prepaired for the big announcement that she has paired off with new guy?All her sexual banter,was she letting us know she's having some again? Guess we will find out soon.

I thought about that at first but she said she wouldn't bring him in the precinct. But this supposedly love interest is a homicide cop, so I thought, Kate is totally just playing around with Castle to see his reaction. And yes, he was jealous. So jealous that he can't stop mentioning the "mystery boyfriend" every chance he gets.

Plus, if she does have a boyfriend then why would she be staying with Castle when her apartment gets blown up?

I just hope they cast him soon.

I really enjoyed this episode. The banter between C & B was just awesome. I love that Kate is able to show her more fun/wild side with Castle now.  All the more delicious to watch.

I don't know that the roommate really made sense as the killer but I also can't say I care. The cases are so secondary to me. lol

The one aspect of this show that I'm just not all that in to is Alexis. I know this is a comment that is going to get me thrown off the island, but I just haven't warmed to this character. It is funny because I do have ideas about how I'd like to see the relationship evolve between she, her father & Kate but if the character was written out for college or something, I'd really have no problem with it.

I hate to say it, but the best part of the whole night was the promo for the next episode. I can't wait. It looks SO good. Given how good Stana was in Sucker Punch, I truly can't wait to see this next episode. It should be epic.

Disappointed that we didnt get to see more of Ryan with the Mistress. Esposito did a pretty good job of making himself look like an idiot, while Ryan not only behaved himself, he apparently had no issues, boots and all. Makes you wonder…Okay. Its making me wonder. Im very happy gutter-wallowing right now. Geez.
 
The whole scene where Kate shouted "Answer her!" at Castle didnt quite work. I would have gone with something softer. They dont have to yell, but you know theyre pissed as hell.
I was also quite disappointed in the lack of the use of 'kitten'. Had I been Kate, I would have rolled with that. Ricky? Pah. No. 'kitten' is where its at.

I didn't see a problem with Kate yelling at Castle cuz afterall they were role playing and she was the dominant one.

I don't think Kate has used the word "kitten" since season 1 so I don't see why she would used that word again. Plus, after Castle saved her life, Castle told her never to call him "kitten" again. So, I would assume that Kate will keep her word.

Wearing a ring on that finger does not necessarily mean you are engaged or married. Plus, that could just be one of thsoe fashion rings. I don't think Molly is engaged.

Hmmm. I don't think that was a raid. They were there to just interview Mistress Venom and the only way for them to get is to role play. If I were her, I would also be staring at the stuff on the table out of curiosity as to why people do these things. When Kate has her game face on, not hardly anything distracts her.

Regarding Jenny, I wonder if what she said to Kate "You looks so much prettier than your picture in Cosmo," is something that Stana hears from Fans often who have seen her and says that she is more stunning in person than on tv or pictures. It reminds me of one reporter who interviewed her during the first season and she said that the show is making an effort to make Kate Beckett more ordinary looking cuz she's a cop but she (Stana) is truly not ordinary looking. And she blushed at that comment. Kinda like what Kate did.

I highly doubt that. I'm not engaged and I wear my rings on that finger sometimes. I just find it comfortable. I seriously wouldn't read anything in to it. At all.
