OfflineI noticed another nice moment between Castle and Beckett on the morning after. Not sure how I missed it before.
When Shaw tells them she wants them to escort the body to the morgue. After your dressed of course. She walks off and you see Ryan and Esposito smirking at Beckett. Castle notices and steps in front of her like he's shielding her and she just sorta looks down. That moment managed to be sweet and hot at the same time.

Haven't noticed it… thanks for giving me the reason to re-watch the episode again!

i think you are right… i never thought of it that way. i thought he was just getting up close to see watch her expression, but i like your explanation better, especially since castle had just shut ryan/esposito down in their "interrogation" of him earlier.
but… castle/beckett had plenty of time to clean up/get dressed/whatever between calling the precinct/fbi in and everyone showing up, didn't they? but instead they didn't… right down to the now cold pancakes in the kitchen?

OfflineJamz…that is a much better way of looking at it…I wouldn't have looked at the scene like that, but now I will. I just thought Beckett looked embarrassed.
Though I do like how Beckett (Stana) looks at Castle's lips when they both say "taxidermist"..right before Lanie says how cute it is.

Close to a "you smell like cherries" moment with Beckett's look

that's it castle fans… we're kidnapping rob bowman and getting even.
we can get honey at costco by the gallon… but where can we find fire ants?
I wonder if fire ants can be obtained through mail order?
Rob's such a tease…no way I believe they'd cross the line this soon, although Castle staying obediently on the couch all night and never peeking in Beckett's room? He'd probably go pull the covers up over her and tuck her in awww.
I love the dance between the two of them, so I don't mind it taking awhile before they go there. In order for it to be believable, they have a lot of growth to do individually as well as a couple. I will say though I think Castle and its writers are better than doing the "will they won't they" dance for 10 seasons. So believable yes, but if they take toooo long I may be dipping a spatula into the honey pot and need a straight jacket for myself.
Jamz-great catch with Castle stepping in front of Beckett to shield her. I think Castle sensed she was really affected by what Shaw said about this murder being on her, and didn't want her to have to deal with Ryan/Esposito on top of it.

Offlinei'm am still kicking the ben conrad suicide scenario around…
everyone take a look at the following pic:
can everyone see that ben conrad is standing at the window of a suite with a separate apartment on the left? that would imply there should be a wall next to him.
now look at the next pic of the interior of the suite ben conrad was found in:

beckett is standing in front of the window that conrad supposedly was standing in front of when he shot himself. however, notice that between shaw and castle, that there is a window in the back wall… how is that possible if there should be a building next this suite on that side of the suite? in fact, there shouldn't even be a back room?
something dosen't smell right…. like expired eggs and furry bacon.

OfflineKate tells Rick to stay…yeah right. When does he ever listen? I can believe that 'nothing happened' between them when Castle spent the night. Really I can. But I can't believe that Castle was a good boy and stayed put.

OfflineThat whole 'suicide' scene was very clever- I especially liked the left hand-right hand revelation.
And on the subject of Rob Bowman- that interview made him sound like a callous asshole with no regard for anything but stringing his viewers along for the purpose of more advertising revenue. I suppose some men like him are necessary for a show to achieve commercial success, but I'm very glad that he does not have absolute and direct creative control over the workings of Castle.

OfflineOh boy, this one was amazing.
Now, here's my theory on the real killer: The real killer says, "Hello Jordan" because he worked with her in the FBI before being sent back to NYC from a certain city.
Also, this would also explain the real killer's obsession with Nikki Heat, since he couldn't have Beckett, as she had broken it off with him before he went to Boston.
Yeah, we saw him in "Little Girl Lost", but that episode really bugs me for only 1 reason: We don't get that much info on Sorenson, and that voice on the phone in this episode did sound awfully familiar.
Yeah, my theory is that Sorenson's the real killer (since he was still with the FBI at the end of Little Girl Lost). Yeah, it's a stretch, but given the evidence here, it doesn't seem like that much of one when you look at it a lot closer.

Someone posted this in the castle_tv community on LiveJournal. Thought I share it. It's the commentary for the episode from abc.com. Thinking this is a good place to post it, but if it needs to be moved someplace else, then go ahead.
Moira Kirland
Consulting Producer
Moira Kirland has been a Consulting Producer on Castle for two seasons. Previously, she was a writer and producer on the television shows Medium, The Dead Zone, and Dark Angel.
Segment 2
08:20
This woman was so great at being dead that I thought the art department had built an elaborate corpse dummy. She was a good sport too, because it was no fun lying motionless on that hard seat for minutes at a time with her eyes wide open.
17:00
Our director, Bryan Spicer, came up with the half-open window gag. He wanted Castle to watch them go off like a puppy being left behind.
Segment 3
22:38
That thumbs up was Nathan’s idea, and it cracked everybody up every time he did it. I love that Beckett is seething, and Castle has no idea that he’s just making it worse.
Segment 4
27:01
This little scene was actually shot over two days. When Beckett opens the door, that shoulder you see really belongs to Nathan’s stand-in. A few days later, we shot Castle’s reaction.
Segment 5
30:14
We had so much fun shooting this scene. Beckett is freaked out by everything that’s happened, and she’s trying to maintain some control over the situation, but Ryan just wants to know if she and Castle are “doing it.”
30:39
It was Jon Huertas’ idea that Esposito would tap the wine glass with the antenna of his radio, but a few times he smacked it too hard and the glass shattered. He broke about four glasses, and there was some concern we would run out before we finished.
31:05
Having Castle pull the guys close, only to then loudly tell them that there were “no details” was a move that Nathan worked out with Jon and Seamus.
32:53
And now that they’ve cleared the air, Castle and Beckett are back to doing what they do best: working as a team.
42:03
There was quite a crowd that showed up to set the night we filmed the big explosion. And of course, we only had the one take… Luckily, everything went right the first time, and Nathan completely sold it as well.
(Credit goes to wwowie on LiveJournal for first posting it.)
My favorite parts. Especially at the end, Nathan did sell it really well. :(
I dont' remember Nathan doing thumbs-ups, but there is another good reason to watch it again. hehe
Thanks for the transcript.

I think the thumbs up was right after Agent Shaw told Beckett "I see what you mean about him being helpful." As they exit the war room Castle does the thumbs up to Beckett. Then Beckett makes the
face. Hilarious!
But don't take my word for it, i think you should re-watch it to verify.
Matter of fact, so will I. (only watched it 5 times so far: 1 x live, 2 x dvr, 1 x abc.com, 1 x abc.com w/ commentary, and I'll probably watch iTunes HD download tonight).

I finished listening to that voice again. I am totally right on this one. And didn't Bailey Chase say he was coming back for a couple of eps this season? What if those couple of eps were this one and the next one?
BJ
I think you might be right. Funny enough I thought of him when the second set of slugs read "will". But then they used them to read "Nikki will burn."

If I remember from a chat with Jose Molinaon here, I think it was, Sorenson won't be back, he's got his own show or whatever.
