I noticed another nice moment between Castle and Beckett on the morning after. Not sure how I missed it before.

When Shaw tells them she wants them to escort the body to the morgue. After your dressed of course. She walks off and you see Ryan and Esposito smirking at Beckett. Castle notices and steps in front of her like he's shielding her and she just sorta looks down. That moment managed to be sweet and hot at the same time.

Though I do like how Beckett (Stana) looks at Castle's lips when they both say "taxidermist"..right before Lanie says how cute it is.

This woman was so great at being dead that I thought the art department had built an elaborate corpse dummy. She was a good sport too, because it was no fun lying motionless on that hard seat for minutes at a time with her eyes wide open.

Our director, Bryan Spicer, came up with the half-open window gag. He wanted Castle to watch them go off like a puppy being left behind.

 

Segment 3

That thumbs up was Nathan’s idea, and it cracked everybody up every time he did it. I love that Beckett is seething, and Castle has no idea that he’s just making it worse.

 

Segment 4

This little scene was actually shot over two days. When Beckett opens the door, that shoulder you see really belongs to Nathan’s stand-in. A few days later, we shot Castle’s reaction.

 

Segment 5

We had so much fun shooting this scene. Beckett is freaked out by everything that’s happened, and she’s trying to maintain some control over the situation, but Ryan just wants to know if she and Castle are “doing it.”

It was Jon Huertas’ idea that Esposito would tap the wine glass with the antenna of his radio, but a few times he smacked it too hard and the glass shattered. He broke about four glasses, and there was some concern we would run out before we finished.

Having Castle pull the guys close, only to then loudly tell them that there were “no details” was a move that Nathan worked out with Jon and Seamus.

And now that they’ve cleared the air, Castle and Beckett are back to doing what they do best: working as a team.

There was quite a crowd that showed up to set the night we filmed the big explosion. And of course, we only had the one take… Luckily, everything went right the first time, and Nathan completely sold it as well.

I dont' remember Nathan doing thumbs-ups, but there is another good reason to watch it again. hehe

I think you might be right.  Funny enough I thought of him when the second set of slugs read "will".  But then they used them to read "Nikki will burn."
 

If I remember from a chat with Jose Molinaon here,  I think it was, Sorenson won't be back, he's got his own show or whatever.
