Beckett will not be happy about the FBI agent not only taking over her case but her would-be man. Things get a little catty between them.

There will be some flirtation between Castle and Shaw which makes Beckett jealous. "Beckett has to fight for her territory a little bit," Katic says.

Castle feels guilty because the serial killer has his sights on Beckett. He feels like he's brought this on her.

Castle will play white knight in a series of scenes. "What we do in the two-parter really charges their relationship, Marlowe teases. "Let's just say Beckett spends some time at Castle's loft, and he spends some time in her apartment." We'll say a little bit more: During Castle's visit to her place, Beckett isn't wearing a stitch of clothing.

"There are a lot of different ways people can not get together, and we plan to flirt with all of them.

to tie them up with other love interests which they plan to do by seasons ends.

So what do we think about this – without hiding the text..

I thought Dana and Nathan looked cosy in some of the pictures – maybe the FBI agent admires Castle, and isn't afraid of showing it. And she being a tough FBI lady, Castle probably likes her, he has a thing for strong women, we've seen. Or maybe they know each other from before?

Anyway, someone must, after learning that Beckett survived that bomb, utter (in Morgenstern's accent) "Shouldn't she oughta be dead?" Laugh

It makes sense that Shaw and Castle flirt, since he tells Beckett (in the promo that aired last night) that Shaw is the federal version of Beckett. And as someone already said, Castle seems to like strong women.

I had to listen several times to catch the "she's the federal you", which basically means Beckett's got competition for his attention… again. Lady Irina last episode, agent Shaw now. Do we expect a "Why don't you go follow her around for your inspiration, then?!"

When Shaw introduced herself… Beckett certainly didn't look happy in that promo.

Local cops usually aren't when the feds show up. They don't typically like others moving in on their turf. Remember how Ryan and Esposito would call Beckett's ex Will Sorenson a "feeb" and he would glare back at them? There's obviously animosity right off the bat, and combine that with Beckett noticing any kind of connection between Castle & Shaw AND Castle's reaction to Lady Irena last week and you've got one ticked off female NYPD detective.

Hurray! They are here! The sneak peeks are here! I would dance around if I wasn't too busy looking at those peeks. Again.

Agent Shaw really start the pissing match right off the bat, doesn't she. "Nikki Heat, I presume. Yeah, read all about you in Cosmo." What a way to start the "collaboration". Laugh

But the winner line this time is Ryan's "The witness refuses to cooperate" – the delivery, voice, look, just loved it! XD

I'm weak. I was hoping to stay away from the clips surrounding these two episodes but my gosh I've watched them a dozen times at least.

unniw, oh man. She sure does start the pissing match. And the way she looks her up and down. I kept thinking oh you don't want to make Beckett angry.

The clip in the car. I'm not sure what part is the funniest. What's he doing? He touches things. Night vision goggles. The way Beckett looks into the mirror when Castle talks about the 3rd book and the look she gives him when he mentions Federal Heat. How long have you two been sleeping together? Why do you keep him around? I can hear you. Put the taser down.

Ryan and Esposito all over Castle. Squee.

Jamz, I was going to stay away too, but I will be out of the country and won't watch Tick until 3/28, so I just had to spoil myself. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. All the things you mentioned Jamz, plus them drinking wine and Castle calling her ridiculous, and Esposito telling him "I can't even look at you right now", and Castle bringing in Esposito and Ryan and making them jump. Good, good stuff.

Did the Paley group get to see all of Tick last night?

I am taking a pledge not to watch spoilers for 218, though…and I'll only have a day between getting home and 218, so I think I can do it!

Two other comments about the clips: I don't remember the exact comment, but very funny when Castle said something about his relationship with Beckett being the most sexless relationship of his life next to his second ex-wife….Beckett had a funny look on her face with that.

Also, I'm glad that they have Beckett taking the high road again…she was calm when Shaw called her Nicky Heat and she could have responded to Shaw's challenges about why Beckett keeps Castle around by blaming Castle or the mayor, but instead she lets her know Castle is useful…sweet!

I will hang my head in shame with others that I peeked….repeatedly.
I'm SO going to love this two parter! The spoiler clips alone are awesome; Beckett's adorable jealousy Castle is listening to the FBI agent, plays w/her "gadgets" LOL, and is theorizing w/her awwww……Beckett really has no clue how much Castle adores her and could never replace her. Then he's staying over at her house?! The wine, making her pancakes, the hilarious scene in the car..pardon a momentary SQUUUUUUUUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. I feel better now. :D

From these sneak peaks, it looks like maybe Castle spends the night with Beckett, I guess he feels he needs to keep her safe, so I'm also guessing that she spends the night with him in part 2 after her apartment gets blown up.

Castle overall seems baffled and annoyed by Beckett in the clip, so I kinds took the "now drink your wine" comment that way. It follows him calling her ridiculous in an irritated way. It's like he can't believe she is being so silly about the stuff with Shaw. And Beckett seems to vulnerable in that scene…like one of those times when you say a bunch of stuff and wish you could take it back later because it made you look foolish. I love that scene…can't wait to see the rest.
