I had to share this with the Castle fans over here,

Last night was epic, in monumental proportions that only Tick…Tick…Tick could create.

Some of you might know that I host a Viewing Party over at the ABC boards, it is slower and not nearly as efficent as the Chat over here but I started it before I joined Castletv.net as a way to gather the Castle Groupies over on ABC together to have some fun and discuss episodes, usually people post during commercials their thoughts on the episode that is airing and I usually crack jokes along the way.

Well last night I couldn't understand why the Boards were acting crazy, going so slow or not loading at all, it wasn't until I noticed that the view number on the thread was over 3000 that I realized that so many people were watching the thread, it was slowing down the server!

But that is not all!

After the episode aired about 10 new threads popped up on the boards all screaming the same message by newbies "IS BECKETT DEAD?!" They were hysterical almost, ranting that they would stop watching if Beckett was truly dead. It was pretty intense for us regulars having to explain why Beckett is alive and well, kind of amusing actually. The threads are still up on the ABC boards if you want to take a look.

I would also like to end on the note that God is good, a little over an hour after the episode aired…the city I live in had a blackout! Shock Imagine if that had occured during or before the episode? I probably would have died of insanity as a result!

You are so right, Nerwen Aldarion. Last night was an experience on the ABC board. I felt it was a good showing of support for Castle and wonderful to see so many new people hanging out last night. Now if we can all just hang in there until next Monday…

I noticed you had some problems last night. Doesn't it just bring a smile to your face to think that Castle is doing so well. Anyone know what the ratings were for last nights episode?

wow overload – yeah goes to show how freakin awesome Castle is. And last night's was epic!    If all those things don't show abc what a fabulous show they have..then I don't know what will.   It has gotten so much press – just last night's ep alone!! Love it! smile

 

Now they just need to get the cast (I personally vote for more Stana) doing more promos etc – like Bonnie Hunt Show etc.  wink

I had a feeling that was the problem, I kept trying to get on but the servers were down. I suppose both sites were a little overloaded Bounce2

They had every reason to be overloaded! This was a huge event that everyone wanted to be a part of, both on TV and online. I know I wanted to secure a spot in chat before it aired, and I am glad I did :smile: Castle's fanbase is certainly growing, and I hope the overload on ABC is an indication that the show is a hit.
