i watched the rerun of this episode in HD, and when i saw the scene where agent shaw makes her entrance at the second murder at the carousel in the park… if you look in the background:

isn't that police officer holding up the crime scene tape the killer, scott dunn?

i only noticed it because i'm housesitting right now and this monster sony LCD flatscreen with HD feed they have here has me noticing specs of dust on their clothing LOL… god i miss my laptop, and i really need a new tv.

it's true. just as ShutTheFrontDoor said, in SE02x19 (Boom!), shaw, beckett and castle couldn't figure out how dunn knew so much about them, and came to the conclusion that dunn was impersonating a police officer to gather intel. when they went through all their crime scene photos, they found that they had almost 30 pictures of dunn in NYPD blues, but dunn knew enough to avoid having a clear picture taken of his face… but that eventually failed when beckett chased him down to the subway and he was caught on the subway security cameras.

yes of course nice eye I kinda have a huge TV like 52' LCD but did not spot this.

I'm wondering if this is Dunn too… at the first murder scene… could be, looks the same, same hair cut around the ears…
