I think I read somewhere that Castle doesn't know where Kate is and freaks out initially cuz she isn't at the station. But then it obviously turns out that she is ok and wasn't in the apartment.

I'm betting he feels guilty about all that happens to her since it's because of his book…and the fact that people know Nikki Heat is based off Det. Beckett.   Will be interesting to see his reaction though..and I wonder if he keeps trying to take care of her and kinda make up for it all etc. 

Figures we'll finally get to see more of Becketts apartment and then it gets blown up! lol 

Wonder what she'll end up doing..I mean other than it looking like she stays with the Castle's initially.  Anyone have thoughts on that? Will Castle get it fixed up for her (maybe even as a surprise)…or she takes on the project herself. Or will she end up deciding to move? (it's such a cool apartment though!)

Hmmmm, I've noticed that an awful lot of folks have mentioned the reason Beckett's apartment was blown up was related to Castle using her as his inspiration for Nikki Heat.  However, I don't know that I've seen that information from any other sources, other than "speculation" by us guys.  Has anyone actually read something official that indicates the reason her apartment was blown up was because of her being a muse for Nikki Heat…or is everyone just "assuming" that that is the reason???? 

Hmm, that's weird.  I don't remembe reading about the explosion being tied to a Nicki Heat stalker.  I don't think I'd like it if the storyline went that way.  I thought it was tied into the serial killer case that they're working with Dana Delaney's character, like the killer was sending a message to Beckett to back away from the investigation or something. 

If Beckett really was in that massivly destructive blast and only came away from it with a sprained wrist, I think that would be stretching the limit of believability for me.  There is no way she wouldn't even have some debris scratches, even if she was in the hallway during the blast or behind a piece of furniture.   Maybe her apt is only on the 1st or 2nd floor and she had to leap out the window when she found the bomb.   I guess we'll have to wait another 2 1/2 weeks to really know.

In that pic where she looks to be smiling behind her hand, it also looks like she might have something in her balled up hand, like maybe a tissue, so maybe she was getting upset by the whole turn of events and he said something lighthearted to make her smile :)

I don't think Kate was in her apartment when it blew up and I don't think the people at Castle will go that route and then just have her walk away with just a hand injury? I think they are too smart for that. I don't think they will have Kate Beckett turned into Lara Croft or something. hehehe I think the injury might have come from maybe her catching a debris from the explosion. I'm thinking that she's probably far enough from her apartment when it blew up but close enough for her to catch the debris.
I don't think Kate was holding anything in her hand in that picture. It looks like it was just her hand. I don't even know if that was even part of a scene or just a picture taken during a break and they were probably goofing around, hence the smile. Just like in one of the pictures, in her apartment after it blew up, they were laughing, and I am assuming that it was during a break and they were all goofing around.
But it could also be that Castle said something funny and she just laughed or smile in her so shy way:)

Okay, so the crazy guy(?) is an obsessed Nicki Heat fan, hmmm, I was gonna say that I don't quite get having an obsession with a fictional, imaginary character and then I realized that I'm sitting here having a conversation about a television show full of fictional characters

So this person is obsessed with Kate just because she inspired Nicki Heat, so if the psycho tries to kill Kate, that would mean there would be no more Nicki Heat stories to fuel their obsession, so why take away the character you're obsessed with.  Well, I guess people have killed their favorite celebrities in the past so that doesn't explain it either.

Wonder if he's committing the serial murders just go get Becketts attention and then kill her.

This darn show has so many questions and we still have 18 long days to wait!  I'm SO glad these eps air on consecutive nights, I'd go crazy if we had to wait a week between them.

Yes, I know this, and yet I still watch a lot of DiscoveryID crime shows that try to rationalize and explain the criminal mind.  I guess as long as I don't really understand how a psychotic serial killer thinks, then I must not be one, so that's a good thing.

I suppose we can speculate for the next 18 days or just wait it out……sigh.  At least we have a new ep on Monday, that one looks like it will be a real conversation generator that will probably keep us busy for the 2 weeks until the 2 parter.
