unniw, this picture shows her head bleeding. It's right where her part is and you can see it dripping down her forehead a little bit.

Ooo thanks for posting these! I was never really able to see the bandage on her wrist but I def see it now. I really hope her dad's watch wasn't damaged BUT I'd rather her lose the watch than the necklace. At least her dad is still around, ya know?

Her head IS bleeding! I totally didn't notice that before. Wow, can't wait for sneek peeks! Should be a pretty dramatic two episodes.

I wasn't really sure which thread I wanted to put this in, but since my comments deal with some spoilers from this episode I have decided this is the place.

Did anyone notice what shows the used to describe the sort of show Castle is for the Paley center PR.

The description of Castle was this:

"Equal parts The Thin Man and McMilan and Wife but with a twenty-first century vibe all it's own"

For me this is interesting because it seems they are working to define the show just a bit different than before, in prior press releases they used shows like Moonlighting meets Murder she wrote.

So this had me thinking, havig Castle & Beckett under the same roof in this eipisode is really a way for TPTB to test that dynamic and see how it will play for the viewer and not actually do it, just like the date episode in The THird Man. At this point the network and TPTB have seen the finished version of this episode and they must have loved how it came out. I cannot help but think that the show has a plan and we are going to see a sneak at the future in episode 18, see how the show may look nearing the 2nd half of season 3.

I like the theory abc123.

Mention of Moonlighting and Murder She Wrote gave the potential viewers something with which they could identify, but over time TPTB may have realized that comparisons to Moonlighting in particular might get viewers worried about a similar negative path with Castle in terms of handling the leads' relationship.

It's interesting to think epsiodes like 17/18 might be testing the waters of a C/B relationship in the future, and consider how they might be trying to refine the vision for the show.

I completely agree with you – I think that's exactly what they're doing. They're not just testing how the "domesticity" angle could work for Castle, Beckett & Alexis – like those undercover episodes these shows always have, it's a way for them to tease the "shippers" without having to commit to anything remotely long-term.

I wonder how long Beckett will stay with the Castles.

I can't wait for this to come on! I REALLY wanna know whats going on!

We are lucky to have all these pictures to talk about…

I wonder why Alexis is so sad in some of the pictures…

And I'm excited for some Beckett and Alexis scenes…Beckett is the perfect role model for Alexis :D

In those photos where Alexis is sad…( http://pizquita.com/noticia169…..html%C2%A0 ) there seems to be another photo of her all excited wearing the same outfit….maybe Beckett comes in and she runs to hug her??? Could happen…..

I'm totally seeing a 'Oh, honey, you're bleeding' moment, with Castle being all touchy, and not realizing he called her 'honey'. They did it on CSI (would be much better with Castle and Beckett, though!).

I am sooo excited for this. Honestly, the preview was the best- with Castle being all 'Kate!' and seeing the apartment blow up. I'm going to have to watch it again…and again…and I hope for some awesome fanfics!

If episode 17 ends with the explosion and Alexis knows that Castle was at or heading to Beckett's apartment then she'd be worried he was caught in it. Even if he calls and lets them know he's ok but needs to stick around for Beckett then she'd still be worried until he got home and could see for herself. And some of the worry is likely for Beckett as well.

Alexis sought Beckett's advice on whether or not to study abroad and you can tell from the episode where Alexis volunteers at the precinct that Beckett was at least impressed by Alexis' investigative skills and smarts. She gives her one of those patented Stana "looks" that says that she is now a big fan of Alexis. I've said before that I think that Beckett sees some of herself in Alexis before her mom was murdered – a young girl from a wealthy background with tons of options for her future, smart, attractive, close to her family. And Alexis sees Beckett as the mother figure she never had. Sure she's always had Martha, but Martha isn't always the best role model what with her flightyness.

That would be so awesome if Alexis hugs Beckett! I was really hoping for a Beckett-Alexis hug in Sucker Punch, but came away happy with a Martha-Beckett hug.

I suspect Alexis is sad because either they don't know at that point if Beckett is OK, she was scared for Dad's safety, or the whole thing has her worried in general.

Thats what I think too! I love Martha tho:) Doesn't matter what she does…she is awesome!

I love any Beckett/Alexis moments…Beckett is like the mother Alexis never had and Alexis is the daughter Beckett never had…And I'm sure she (Beckett) DOES see a lot of herself in Alexis….I've also noticed how she seems to melt inside when she sees Castle with Alexis…like she is thinking "I miss my family" I mean, I know she's got her dad still…but after her mother 'left', I'm sure their relationship changed a lot.

OK, so fingers crossed that Alexis hugs Beckett!

Of course, it could be the other possibility too. I dunno, I may have been wrong, but that voice on the phone in Ep 17 seemed unmistakable to me.

Castle raising his hand when Shaw asks you know how they caught Son of Sam? He makes me laugh.

Creepy. From the music to the wall dedication. If you hit pause you see pictures of Beckett on the streets. Looks like one of her and Castle too. But I really want to see Castle's reaction after Beckett says, "All over a damn book."

Makes me believe even more that Shaw knows who the killer is. When she first meets Beckett and Castle she says she plays a mean game of Scrabble. In the killers manuscript he mentions Srabble. Beckett mentions how he's done this before. I think he's taunted Shaw before and she's never been able to catch him.

We finally get to see Beckett do something when she was told not. I can't wait to see her get out of the van. Big mistake for Shaw to kick her off the case. I'm sure circumstances will change that but still.

And oh man she sounds broken when she tells the Captain, "Sir, I don't have a home."

it hurst to watch these spoilers (but it isn't ruining it for me)… it shows how hard it's affecting beckett and she's starting to fall apart. i really felt the scene where she is arguing with capt. montgomery who is telling her to go home to take a breather and she yells at him saying she has no home to go to anymore
