Castle fans: ouch!  It’s never too early to panic.  OK, it’s way, way, way too early to panic.  But still, ouch.

I'm kinda confused. Castle's 0.8 rating does suck, compared to the other shows in the time slot, but it's fairly consistent with other Saturday and Wednesday repeats (and I've read somewhere else that these ratings are considered decent for reruns?). Plus, considering that Cougar Town didn't give Castle much of a lead in (1.0), it isn't half bad at all, right?

TV By the Numbers has never liked Castle. They're just jerks. Plus, ABC is aware of the fact that they're running Castle after comedies and on Wednesdays, not Mondays.

Way to try and scare people TV by the Numbers.

if you look at the comments at TVBythenumbers, most people are calling out the author for sensationalizing it. WEdnesday numbers are NOT going to affect Castle, they don't count because: They are not on the real night and are repeats. Think of them like Saturday repeats.

And many people are calling the author out for making it seem like Castle fans should worry, they shouldn't. The author admitted that these numbers won't help or hurt Castle and that the mean nothing really for the show, he was just trying to stir up controversy probably because it is slow at the website during the summers and Castle fans are so touchy about the show that he thought they would be an easy mark. Which is why I HATE tvbythenumbers
