Someone on the TWoP board listed all the women Castle has mentioned he's slept with. I wish I could find it now but I'll look some more later. While we technically haven't seen Castle with them except for Meredith and

it's pretty telling about his pattern. Throw in all his talk and it doesn't paint the best picture. What's the point of always making him sound like a playboy if it's not true? We know his ego loves all the attention. He's certainly toned it down some since Beckett came into the picture but they still play it up too much if it's just part of his defense imo. Not that I think some of it isn't used as a defense.

The only other women I can recall him kissing is that call girl but she made the move and he backed off quickly. And of course Kyra for old times sake.

It's not about having to actually see him with these women to understand what's going on. Instead of always playing it up how about some displays of showing change and realizing just what he's been doing? I guess that's what I'm trying to get at but probably not making any sense by now. If they showed him in a more serious light when it comes to women and a relationship Beckett would take him more seriously in that regard. But Ellie is just the latest example that he isn't ready to change yet. He's still stuck in the same pattern they've put him in from the start.

I hope I've never implied that Castle would make a bad husband becuase he's had two failed marriages. I think some of us bring those up because it ties in with the type of women he goes for and why they never last long. It's just another example of his pattern. I certainly think he'd make a good husband with the right person which just happens to be Beckett.

is it just me or do the stylists purposely make Beckett wear a really vivid blue when she's attracted to a cop? She's wearing a certain shade of bright cobalt blue in season 1 "A Death In The Family", as she feeds Will sprinkled donuts and also again in this picture after her sparring session with the new guy.

So I don't fault him in the beginning (later I do a bit because it was pretty obvious lol), for falling for her.  I was honestly hoping (slightly because I didn't like them together) that their relationship would last into this upcoming episode, because I think Castle needs to be in a bit longer of a relationship, as someone mentioned with Beckett we haven't seen Castle in that light either, even though he can do it as he's been married twice.

Please, don't anyone take that as an attack, I'm honestly curious :P Maybe I'm missing something is all, lol

         I totally get what you are saying.Maybe it's frustration that Castle hasn't hit on Beckett and followed through. She has given him some legitimate chances in  mho but he deflects them and makes a joke about it. I believe at this point everyone,especially the ladies on the boards,just want Beckett to get some "action". We all are interested in how Beckett will handle a real man in a "relationship" and vise versa.With the single exception of Will kissing Beckett on the lips in the precinct break room,which was interrupted by Castle btw,the poor girl hasn't had a single on screen morsel to chew on so to speak.The way the writers shy away from C & B getting together and everyone but me thinking it's NOT TIME YET,outside action is all that Beckett is likely to get for the foreseeable future.

Castle on the other hand has gotten laid fairly regularly throughout the series. At the very  least he's had more action than Beckett.
