The pictures of the ring do look similar. It's hard to say for sure that it is because of the lighting, but it is definitely a possibility! Good eyes, Theresa!

After you've typed what you want to say, highlight what you want to be put under spoiler bars. Towards of the top, the eighth thing from the right is a little smile with sunglasses, click that and it'll put the highlighted text in spoiler bars!

Wow…unniw…I hadn't even thought of that possibility…that would be fabulous. I also now am less worried about this episode. It seems that it will be somewhat lighthearted (although I've been fooled about that before).
As far as Kate's friend, it seems she will make the same observation about feelings between C/B as others (or at least Kate having feelings for Castle)…my guess is that Kate will deny feelings once again. I wonder if that scene between Kate and her friend is before or after Castle and her friend are eating together. Did she give them permission to see each other, or was her friend's statement a reaction to Kate's jealousy at a date?

to make spoiler: write text, mark test to hide (click, drag mouse), klick on smiley-face-button above with an eyepatch covering both eyes (to the right of movie-button) the text "spoiler" (in brackets) will appear before and after the marked text. Post it.
… and we don't usually see it, as it's kept hidden, depending on the clothing, of course.

When I saw that last night I thought, like many of you, that Castle is totally NOT proposing to Beckett OR to her friend, but ABC is definitely trying to make it look that way. As for the look on Beckett's face when he holds up the ring – so many possibilities:
1. She could be thinking "OMG, that's a gorgeous ring!" or
2. It throws a huge twist into the case that Beckett didn't see coming or
3. unniw is correct and Beckett lost her mom's ring (I also noticed that he hasn't been wearing the chain around her neck) and Castle either found it OR (here's a crazy thought) had a new one designed to look exactly like the original for her (it wouldn't be the same for Beckett since the ring wouldn't be the original one owned by her Mom, but it'd be a HELL of a sweet gesture on Castle's part! and he did have her Dad's watch repaired, so why not replace her mom's ring?)

I'm thinking that if the ring is not Beckett's mothers, perhaps it's a piece of evidence that Castle found. On a side note, is it just me or does there look like there are two different women in the promo. The woman in blue and the women in red, their faces and hair really don't look the same to me. I bet it's my imagination, because I haven't heard anything about a second woman.

yeah there are two different women there, one is beckett's highschool
friend. the other most likely someone who is involved in the murder,
like a possible suspect, or maybe someone involved with the victim

Am I the only one who finds the spoiler bar things annoying? I'd rather just have a spoiler thread, but that's my opinion. Is there a reason why we don't have them anymore so we could just speak freely?
Anyway……
Yeah, leftfield, there are two different women in the promo. At first I thought they were the same, but then when you slow it down, it's two different women.
I also thought the ring might possibly be her moms ring but then I dismissed it because I thought it would be kind of strange to have Castle be the one who finds and returns both her dads watch and her moms ring. I don't know why, but I do. Although you're right, it would make for a "sweet ending", but then it would be a similar "sweet ending" to the one we had in "Boom".

That might very well be it.
But knowing Castle, he might jokingly make it seem like he's proposing. I sure hope so!

2 is most likely , though 3's just really awesome =))
maybe the ring concludes the case, like it's the one thing that they saw that then made them realize something..then poof..they know who the killer is and the story behind it =)

Yes! I do find them annoying…I'd be all for separate spoiler threads related to the episodes!
And you may be right Kitten…it would be unusual for them to end 2 episodes similarly…hmmm….
