WOW!!! This is going to be epic if it really opens them up. I sooo hope all of these rumors are true. That would make the season finale AWESOME.

I'm not sure how I feel about this… I mean if it's going to get Castle & Beckett closer then YAY! But I don't like Gina. Yep, this Season Finale is going to knock our socks off!

Here's a little more on the spoiler. This makes it sound worse, not better.
Where will Castle and Beckett end up this season now that Beckett's got a new man? — Sidney
ADAM: Well, Castle isn't going to sit around and wait: As we've reported, he'll be busy rekindling the flame with his ex-wife and editor Gina (Monet Mazur). "There's a lot of unresolved stuff that is still out there in regards to what went on and what went wrong with Castle in his previous marriages," Stana Katic tells us. And how will Beckett react to his renewed relationship? "You don't just stop liking somebody overnight, so I imagine it will affect Beckett, which will be great. Anything we can do to heighten the stakes."

Oy Vey. . .
I like Stana's responce to that. Right now, Castle is sad/jealous of Beckett/Demming and Beckett isn't even meaning to make him jealous. Depending on what the finale shows us, Castle will get Beckett jealous over him and Gina without meaning to… who knows?

ugh seriously?? We know Castle doesn't like Gina at all anymore…so should be interesting storyline. I don't see him falling for her again..more like we'll get some resolve as to what happened between them? Would be nice to get more back story on that finally – would be part of revealing more of Castle and his past. And give Beckett something to think about too of course. lol
I trust the writers -they haven't steered us wrong yet, only done an incredible job with each ep. So it'll be good whatever the outcome – aka cliff hanger. But I do hope we see a slight shift forward in the B & C relationship by the end of the season. I am pretty sure they aren't gonna suddenly be in a relationship together – that's too soon for them both not to mention the writers and actors have said it won't happen yet since there's still so much to discover about each character and learn more about their histories etc. But another step forward would still be nice eh.
(bye bye Demming!! *L*) Meanwhile the chase will be fun. 
Don't want that fun bantering etc to stop, that's a major part of the show and the writers know that.

That is an unexpected plot twist, but should be interesting. Maybe if Castle revisits some old ghosts, he can resolve some of his issues and move forward in a positive way. This could be a very good thing if it plays out right. It could also afford Beckett a chance for some insight into another side of Castle, which could prove to be interesting too.

Oh yer there is definitely issues there which should make this episode so much fun. I think their divorce is quite recent as he was quite snarly with Gina in the first episode "I already returned that advance, I spent it divorcing you!" Ouch!
Mind you Gina wasn't much better so I think throwing them together again will bring forth some fireworks and of course throw a jealous Beckett into the mix and it should be fun.
They could always throw in Meredith as well and have the three women giving Castle a hard time? (I'm so evil!)

Personally I hope they will bring him back in season 3, of course if Michael Trucco is going to be available. I really like him.
