Three cheers for time shifting and Canadian maritime time zones. Final episode just over and i'm blown away. in some of the pre-episode discussions people commented on the magnificent acting just through facial expressions as shown in the spoilers. Guys – the spoilers have nothing on the actual show. Stana and Nathan are out of this world. Wow!
I'll say no more here but that both the relationship issues and the mystery were first rate this time. We'll have lots to mull over, over the summer. Should keep the fan fiction writers VERY busy.

might consider it – but think i may just spend the time watching the thing again in HiDef so i can watch the facial expressions that much better. the Maritime time zone version was only in regular broadcast mode.

hey, i didn't know i could do this until today. For once the 300 duplicate channels that my cable provider gives me for my monthly extortionate fee came in handy.
For what it is worth – it is worth the wait i think.

Some speculations were pretty close to what happened. Some were seriously out to lunch. So what else is new?
The spoilers were closer than usual too - except that the context sometimes was different than it appeared in the clips.
it certainly leaves enough issues open to go a huge number of ways in the fall. The part i like is everyone – Martha, Captain, Esposito, Lanie, Alexis got a role and a couple of good lines (or at least very significant looks) to deliver in the episode. like i said above – the Fan fiction writers will have a field day.
The people who didn't like Demming will be thrilled. I felt a little sorry for him, all the while cheering.

i'm housesitting for someone with a huge LCD tv and i found out that they have subscribed to a billion channels, including east coast feeds. so for the first time as a west coaster, i was able to watch castle at 7pm instead of 10pm… and being more awake at 7am made the shock of the last 5 minutes in this episode harder to swallow. sigh. the look on beckett's face just before it went to ending credits is going to haunt me all summer 
i hate myself right now. in the pre-episode discussion i made up a list of events as i thought it would play out based on the spoilers and from what others had said, and most of it turned out to be true… but the ending was worse to experience than to predict.
i'm so upset. beckett made a choice, did the right thing and listened to her heart, and we were so damn close to seeing her make the jump with castle… and she was too late. and i can't blame castle for anything. she's been flaunting demming right to his face, and she's turned castle down so many times… how much more can he take? castle had to come to a decision also… if he only knew what she was ready to do for their relationship.
why dammit why???
