I like your ideas. Especially the second one with Castle getting shot and in a coma, with Beckett by his bedside and Tom realizing that she cares about Castle much more than about him.

I love your ideas too, Nev827! I read a really great Fanfiction yesterday (or the day before) that was similiar in the sense that Kate realized that she cares about Castle.

hiya everyone!! I have been too busy to post lately :( I miss my Castle.. but have been sneaking a read of everyone's posts.. I love hearing everyone's ideas!

Isn't it going to be fascinating to watch things unfold between Castle and Beckett- with these love interests in the mix??!! I am looking forward to hearing what people who are pro and anti these developments have to say..

Speaking for myself, I still wish Castle would be the show to break the 'moonlighting curse' – which isn't real btw- only perceived real!! I couldn't help but think of this watching 'wrapped in death' the other day : who can we ask to reveal the secret of how to reverse the moonlighting curse?????!!!! ugh!

Still, I am resigned to the resolution of the UST being seasons away.. and so long as it doesn't bore me.. I'll be in it for the long haul..

So now- the ending of season 2.. well well well.. sounds like the cliffhanger will have something to do with Kate/ Tom/ Castle- I have no idea what it will be- but I know what I would like to see! I would like to see Kate defend Castle in some way.. whether it be from Tom's criticisms or whatever.. Castle is an important person in her life now – and it would be great for Beckett to demonstrate this.. if Tom made an ultimatum to Kate of him or Castle – I could see her choosing Castle – just because he dared to give her an ultimatum!  

Will Tom respect Kate – the way I think that Castle does? as her own woman, an equal who is clever, strong, very competent and worthy of a great deal of respect?? or will Tom possibly find her threatening?? (he may find this cute at first, wrestling her and having her hurt his arm and all - but in the end  they may wind up in competition with each other over their work- this is where Beckett and Castle are so good together- they don't compete- not really.. they compliment each other)

I will finish by adding one thing I would love to see at some point – but which would fit well for season ending- I would LOVE to see CASTLE falsely accused of murder – and Beckett and the gang frantically trying to come up with the true killer and who framed Castle.. Hmmm.. maybe Ellie could kill someone and frame Castle – haaaaa.. It would be fab to see Castle depending on Kate to come through for him in some way.. ( I draw the line at Beckett declaring her love for Castle first though – I am a traditionalist here and want Castle to man up and Lead there.. )

Ok.. have raved on enough.. this is what happens when I hold in my Castle thoughts in for too long!!

i like the second one the most (the first one is good as well)…i think that this is the time for castle to get shot sounds weird but saving Demming…okay Beckett, Castle, and Demming are on a case, they all spilt up, realizing that beckett likes demming and that castle wants beckett to have the best and if she finds that in Demming, he steps down, but demming's held at gun point, castle pushes him out of the way and takes the bullet, and when he's bleeding, he whispers to demming "take care of her" and the scene fades to black….wow that was really over done…okay i'll stop now..the nseason 3 shows what happens to Castle/Demming/beckett

I love both these ideas!  and I never thought about the twist where Beckett & Tom end up competing with one another.  That could cause them to break up and Beckett to see Castle in a new light.

The end of season one was a little something; was she going to forgive him or not and they are so past that now.  We just had the 2 part shows about her stalker and they were great, so I don't think it will be about her again.  I would think it would be about Castle, himself directly, or about Alexis, something to draw them together again.  And something that will keep us hanging all summer long; longing for September to draw closer.
