I definitely agree, this was THE best episode of the season.  It had everything in it that reminded me of why I began watching Castle in the first place.  I loved the give and take between Castle and Beckett with Beckett "scoring points" most of the episode until Castle got her good at the end.  And, like all the other "suckers" I immediately ran to my Heat Wave book and checked out page 105!!!  I feel so fortunate to have purchased that book because I suspect they'll mention other things in it throughout the season. 

If there was ever an episode to write to ABC about, lauding Castle, this is it.

I agree with everyone. This is now my new favorite episode. It was awesome!! The scenes with Alexis were great, the story line was awesome, the crime was very well thought out and pulled together, and we still were able to keep onto the characters more then the actual crime, which is definately a handful to begin with.

And the end of course was terrific. I did not expect that at all. And I so ran to my book to!! And jumped to page 105!!! lol. That was hilarious. I made the same expression Beckett did. That was definately a funny treat.

I'm raising my glass to the Castle cast, TERRIFIC episode!

Best episode ever!  Loved, loved, loved this episode.  The Beckett/Castle give and take was fantastic, Alexis/Castle dressing down – so good – and Kate's reaction to it- haha, the Castle stare down of Dylan – too funny, the case had great twists and turns and the ending bathroom scene had me totally laughing off my couch!    I already rewatched about half of it.  Wow!  Hats off to the writer and the cast, truly amazing.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one that quickly ran to grab the book to see if the page number was right!! haha.

This was definitely the best episode of castle IMO.  I loved the wit, the chemistry between all the characters, etc.  Just a fantastic show!!

Even the promo for next week's episode looked really good!!

Kate looks stunning in that dress!! That girl can do no wrong when it comes to fashion!!!

My favorite episode will always be the pilot because that's when I met these characters, but this trumps all else.  I'd like to mention that I'm very thankful that the clips we are given do not ruin the show for us.  It's like giving candy to a kid, we don't know when to stop, so someone has to offer guidance. Much appreciated.

OK, here we go…..Feed the birds with gloves on?  I like it!  I'm gonna try that.  And, the after 'I've been married twice' gives me good reason to use my favorite smiley.  'Can I see the body?' 'Umm…..No.' (with the confirmative head nod)  The captain is back, and he ain't no sucker! The Chrysler building is the best part about the New York skyline.  Thanks for showing it at night and at dawn.  So pretty.  Martha's 'Hormones, what's your excuse?'    Molly was fantastic in this episode!  'Am I a , Dad?'…..  Even Castle was disappointed with himself after her interrogation.  So good.

And finally, I'm not going to say anything specific about Stana's performance because I think there are quite a few people here that are sick and tired of me going on and on, but I will say this……If Stana is not nominated for an emmy for this series, my reaction will be: "SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!"

Nothing new to add to what's already been said, but just wanted to jump in to add my feelings that this was the BEST ever!  Love all the episodes, but as others have said, this was what many of us were talking about when we said "just give us a little bump up in the hint of a romance, chemistry," etc.  So many little moments – like when Beckett said she had plans and Castle asked if she had a date.  You knew he was jealous.  And when she teased him by leaning close and saying "what if I told you I was reading your book" and he loved it!  Just everything about it was great.  Wonder if they'll have the violin teacher return as a potential love interest for Alexis, or is he too old?  Cute kid (I can say this because I'm in my 50's, so he qualifies as a "kid").  Anyway, humor, chemistry, this had it all.  So glad I taped it so I can watch it again.  "Shut the front door" — great line! 

My new fav episode now. Notice how they are getting more touchy/feelie? She grabs his arm, they lean in close. Wonder if Heat Wave page 105 is coming to life in the show anytime soon? for sure the bathroom scene was outrageous and there were so many great lines I will have to watch it again! Go Richard go – give us more Heat!!

My mom and I almost busted a gut at Beckett's reaction to 'Can I see the body?' The body language was spot on. She's just amazing when it comes down to acing the little details!

And I knew 'shut the front door' was coming and was stoked because I use it from time to time, but damn it, that delivery was perfect. It didn't seem out of place or character, and was just fan-freakin'-tastic. That woman is awesomeness squared!

I wishwishwish I could watch the episodes on hulu because I think I'd be at my fourth viewing!

I've watched it twice too. I'm having my mother come over so we can watch it together too.

This show never gets old. I always notice something new when I watch it again.
