I want to echo the sentiments of others and say that this is definitely one of my favorite episodes.

I love the ramping up of the tension between Castle and Beckett. And Stana was absolutely adorable the way she played "flirtatious Beckett." The power is shifting in the Castle/Beckett relationship and, I for one, love it.

I heard people talking about it jumping to #8 on Facebook too. Of course, those were just random people, but I'm assuming at least some of them had real sources.

Actually, I think WriteRCastle posted it on his Twitter himself. Also, he's beat Dan Brown on the Amazon list, at least for a little while. Let me see…

Copied/pasted that from the Twitter. Not sure where I read about him actually beating Dan Brown, but I did see the actual page where they'd showed it. I think Heat Wave was two above DB's book.

Copied/pasted that from his page. Also read somewhere later that Heat Wave had beat out DB's book, at least by two places. Will have to search that one out, but I remember looking at the page…I think it was through Barnes and Noble…

It appears there's some confusion about bookselling lists, lol.

#4 on Barnes & Noble
#8 on Amazon.
#26 on NYTBL.

Although, we'll get a new NYTBL tomorrow, right?

Heat Wave is currently #9 on both the Amazon and Barnes & Noble lists.

Okay, something is definitely not right. My second account was working for awhile over at my Google Chrome web browser, and now it won't even let me leave the profile page if I go to the message board. Even if I close the page and start over. I had to move over to Safari and delete all of my temporary files so that I could log in as this account, because it wouldn't let me log out. Admin! Heeeeeelp!

Yes, seems there's been some confusion #8 was in ref to amazon and I think it made it to #4 on the B&N list… Will post this weeks NYTBSL as soon as it's available

I absolutely love Beckett's being so secretive about reading the book. She's still holding onto not giving him the satisfaction of letting him know that she's a rabid fan just like the rest of us. It's so adorable. Honestly, I don't know how she keeps it together. If it were me, I'd be a blithering idiot.

Alexis was awesome. But isn't Castle just the greatest dad to admit he was out of line and apologize? Made me melt into a puddle of goo, let me tell you.

– You just made my day. Me, my sis, and her hubby are loyal fans of this show. We get so carried on about it that we keep all our televisions (3) on hoping that it would boost the show's ratings (not exactly sure how it works). We have faithfully watched all previous episodes since day one (I'm a long time browncoat and have converted both my sis and my brother in law into castle fans). This is about the only show that all three of us unanimously agree to watch as a group and with good reason…. it has everything. Being a browncoat , I was initially hesitant about Stana but she blew me away after just a few minutes of episode 1 (season 1). Mal… I mean Richard Castle has definitely met his match as far as I can tell.

All three of us and my sister's one year old son are in the Philippines right now and we definitely miss being able to watch Castle. It's the only downside to our little vacation. I can't find anywhere online where we can cath the newest episode. Every site is limited to viewers that are in the mainland U.S.

I cant wait to get back in the US even if it's just to be able to watch this episode. At least I only missed one episode. I'll be back by Saturday evening (10/23/09) and the first thing I'm gonna do is watch the show. From what I read here…. it's gonna be a blast. Thank you guys for keeping us updated.

Nobody talks about the scene when castle said he knows a guy in CIA.

Castle : When you gonna learn I know a guy everywhere.

I remembered this episode when I was watching Bones' The Bones on a Blue Line last Thursday, because they were fussing about a page in Brennan's book. Just funny how similar they are at times. Maybe that's why I love watching both shows. Next thing you know, someone in Castle will be advertising a Sienna the same way Angela did in Bones. Laugh

By the way, my favorite scene in Fool Me Once was Beckett hiding in a bathroom stall, and Castle catching her. Moreover, Beckett skipping to page 105. Also, thought those stall dividers seem far too short for both Beckett and Castle. They could easily peep into the next stall. Haha!

I also loved this episode! I love Beckett tease-flirting with Castle.

And the bathroom scene… hilarious! Although I can't keep wondering what would have happened it Castle had assumed wrongly that she would be going to the bathroom just to read that scene in his book and had actually…ehhm… really been going to the bathroom… How mortifying THAT would have been for both! Embarassed Laugh
