I think they filmed it though… I saw a picture where Castle was holding up what looked to be a bikini…

Now they HAVE TO give us the deleted scenes on the DVD…

Oh, I just pictured two ways this could go:

Castle discovers the mistletoe, and takes position under it, winking to Beckett, asking her to come over… Beckett sits at her desk and is not moving, just rolling her eyes as usual. But a lot of other women in the presinct are getting their kisses as they are passing Castle… Beckett become more and more agitated as more and more kisses are given, allthough she's trying not to show it. Then, the call comes for today's murder, and she has to leave, she has to pass through the door… Castle is grinning wide as she throws him a deadly stare.

1. Just as Beckett approach the door, she suddenly swings around and push Esposito in front of her and into Castle, and slips past him while Castle and Esposito just look at each other and shake their heads.

2. Just as Beckett approach the door, she suddenly moves in, holding his head with both hands and kisses him solidly on the mouth. Just as quickly she releases him and moves on with a mischievous grin. Castle is left behind, looking thorougly shocked, unable to move.
