OfflineI loved the episode as well. Glad to have the intro to Castle again… gives me hope that new viewers will be able to understand the back story of why Castle is helping, etc….and continue to stay and watch week after week.
Wish there was more Beckett/Castle romantic scnenes but I think there were a few – Have to re-watch….
More importantly, I think I had the biggest grin on my face when the promo for next week's episode came on and some guy asks if Beckett and Castle are together and (i think) Castle says "Not Yet" while Beckett says "No". Reminds me of the "cherries" scene from last week!!
Just my 2 cents!! Will definitely re-watch!!

OfflineA little bit of bad as* Beckett…A little bit of father-daughter love. Good episode.
Also, to me it seems as if the writers are showing that Beckett is seeing Castle in a different light- thanks to his fatherly side.
But let's talk about the promo for next week's episode. I wanna see that again. haha

OfflineReally good. Found myself saying, "wow, this is a good one" about halfway through. Figured out who the perp was abt 10 minutes before the reveal, but the motive really surprised me. I liked how Alexis was so helpful, and that she was mature enough to realize what had happened without Castle having to explain.
I was convinced Sky was going to kill herself (that moment before they find her going thru withdrawls), but was pleasantly surprised that she didn't.
Castle had some *great* lines tonight!
"She hated Obama!"
It was really awesome to see how angry Castle got at the husband! He was furious over Hayley's death, cause he knew this guy was a slimeball as well as what he did to her. Beckett too, she got really angry for a sec when they were questioning the guitarist. Very nice to see these emotions come out. I wasn't expecting it, so I hope they keep it up. Both actors express their emotions very well.
I wonder how much Apple's product placement (the iPods) had to do with the Castle soundtrack being available on iTunes? Interesting. Then again, I absolutely adore Apple so I'm not complaining. They're high-end music players that nearly everyone has (especially celebrities), so it made sense that Hayley Blue had one.
I noticed that Beckett seemed to know a lot about rehab, talking about Hayley's "exit interview" before she left rehab and how Sky wouldn't stop using until she wanted to. I wonder if this had anything to do with her father's alcoholism? Did he go to rehab too? Hopefully we'll find out more about this as the episodes come along. I'd hate to see Beckett's backstory put on the back burner until the end of the season, but I guess it's better than nothing. More interesting, anyway.
A big FTB to all involved in tonight's ep. Definitely one of the top eps so far.
Castle = Awesomesauce. The end.

OfflineI loved this episode. It was less of the funny haha side and more on the touching side. Though I did love the part where Alexis came to the station and Beckett gave Castle the compliment about seeing him as a dad and he shot back with "Makes you want me, right" and she gave it right back to him. But it showed Beckett another side of Castle, what a great father he is. That seemed to be the theme throughout the episode, Castle's fatherly side. He felt paternal to the sister of the murder victim, not wanting her to be on the street in her condition, thought that was brilliant the way Beckett read him perfectly and said "I'll drive" to go look for her. Her compassion showed for the girl as she was going through withdrawal and when she was in the morgue. Wonder if they were referencing her history with her dad at all, her father's alcoholism that is. Stana always plays the compassion parts dead on and nice to see she can kick butt too, like on the bus and with that guitarist.
Nathan was really great in that scene at the end, showing how angry Castle was at the producer, you could see that as a father , he was furious with someone who would take advantage of his position as a father figure and harm a young women. Finally, loved the way Kate looked at him as he walked off after he said "I'll do what I always do, tell her the truth" in regards to what he'd tell Alexis. At the end, fantastic the way they were all together, like a family, at the memorial concert. Hope that's some foreshadowing!
Great episode, I thought it moved the relationship forward, told a great little mystery and had some good music! Oh and guitar hero and Billy Idol!!! Cant' ask for anything more.

Offlineseems this page has some format issue, so keep your lines short.
a work-around for now: copy the text from top to bottom and paste into
notepad or word.
A nice episode, relationship-wise. Beckett gets to see the adult side of Castle,
and she spends time with him and his family outside work.
That consert probably included some time together before or after, maybe a meal, …
No big glee moments like the cherries, but solidifying the bond between them.
And a lot of small things – like eating candy in sync (when they wonder about why
she gave money to the drug dealer) – just cute. Reminded me of an old couple…
And Alexis has put parent control on Castle's computer, not willing to take it off

OfflineI adore this episode. Even though there wasn't a "cherries" scene I feel as though it didn't need one. This episode was more about heart and relationships as a whole (Castle and Alexis as father and daughter, and Castle and Beckett as Beckle). There were lots of sweet moments which are sometimes better then eeeee moments.
Also, Alexis singing was sweet/cute and her taking it so hard was perfect!
