Sorry about that! I thought that one would be OK since I didn't actually say who it was. 
I can't wait to discuss this when everyone has seen the episode, my mother and I are dying for the next season!! I've already sent off my email, and will join in with the phone-a-thon tomorrow!

Ok, phew! I just noticed that the title does say 'Contains Spoilers' so I guess I am home free there haha.
This is the only reason it's good to see the show after everyone else, I don't have to wait on the edge of my seat for others to join the discussion!!

so I had to dvr the show… my dvr stopped recording at 58 minutes… right when he told her to sit down…. I don't know what he told beckett, heh. This is so frustrating… there better be a season 2.

Ohmygod, Alexis was so cute in that dress! Martha was wonderful. The supporting cast got a little more dialog than usual. And the end. I can't stand it. When does next season start? When will we know if there is a next season?
I've got the dvd set ordered. Should be here soon.

We should know by next week for sure. Isn't the upfront meeting May 19th?
(And I think Nathan Fillion said in one of those recent interviews that it might be on Friday?)

Boy do they ever know how to leave us hanging! The scene where Castle, Alexis, and Martha were in the dress shop was really sweet, and I love seeing the more 'serious' side of Martha.
And the little scene between Will and Kate at the hospital where he's all looped up on drugs was adorable. I can't wait to see all these relationships develop, they have such wonderful storylines.

Browser crashed while I was watching so I had to stop posting.
I LOVED this episode. I really really liked that we got to see Martha being wise and serious – that was really good, and unexpected. I loved the tears welling up in Castle when after he talked to Alexis about growing up and leaving him.
I loved the ending, I think it was the perfect way to end the season and i can't wait for the next one! I like that the finished the storyline and then kept the overall story hanging like that.

May I just say (before I forget and gush about something else) that Castle's speech to Beckett was a really nice touch to the show. We know he likes her because obviously otherwise he wouldn't be doing his 'research', but we really saw that for the first time when he told her that Sorenson's injuries weren't her fault. The slight pause before "and that's what makes you extraordinary" was the first time we'd really seen his honest feelings about her without the smart quip or witty remark for levity. I loved that.

Side note:
My mother and I couldn't help but wonder if the killer's name, Carla, was a reference to the notorious Canadian female serial killer Carla Homolka. Since both the leads are Canadian it wouldn't be surprising, and now I can't help but wonder whether it was just a coincidence or if the name Carla really was a reference to another cold-blooded murderer.
