Kinda looking forward to it myself…. disappointed we may have to wait a little longer than we thought, with the budget created schedule changes the start date may have been moved back – Castle doesn't appear on ABC's draft schedule for the start of the midseason lineup :(

I'm not sure if the episode has been cancelled or if it will be on the following week, sometimes they do show episodes out of order

I want to inquire as to the ringtone on Castle's phone. And it looks like a very witty, cute show with some chemistry tension in the mix. Can't wait to view.

Tman, I'm sure they will show it.
What kind of part did you have in it? (Sorry if you said this elsewhere and I missed it.)

BTW, I am told that Nanny McDead got moved up because they felt it had the better promo clips. Hell Hath No Fury is slated to air week 4. Apparently dead girls in driers make for good advertising ;)

I just have a little part, I deliver something to Rick Castle. I hope the show does well, everyone on the show was really nice and down to earth. So….I hope only the best for them. Hope you enjoy the episode and thanks for the heads up.

Quote from Nathan Fillion about episode #4
IGN: Can you give us a sneak peak into the next episode?
Fillion: The next episode is called "Nanny McDead". This is what I like about Castle. You're not going to find them investigating a bank robbery where a man was shot and killed. That's not really the kind of homicides they're into. Drive by shootings… no. It's a nanny found dead tumbling in a laundry dryer. A clothes dryer. And you go, 'Where…? How did…? who in their right mind…?' It becomes an entirely different kind of mystery. The ones that interest Castle are the ones that have an incredible story attached. [Source]

I loved it! I think this episode was a little more serious in tone than I'd expected, but still plenty of funny.
I think the line that's cracking me up the most is when Beckett calls Castle to let him know the autopsy was done, he looks at his watch and says "Really? Do they do those at night?" It's subtle, because you only realize after he's hung up what he was talking about.

My favorite scene was when Nathan is devising a story in the squad room to explain the nanny's death, total fiction, but he has all of the cops enthralled with his speculations. They pause, silently, and then go on…

Okay — NF's myspace page mentions references to OLTL in Nanny McDead. Ummm. I never watched OLTL and don't know what the references are. Can anyone enlighten me?

Well, he mentioned he learned how to write stories by watching One Life to Live when he was talking about how horrible his own nannies were. And I think I saw someone mention somewhere there was also another actor/actress in the show who had been on OLTL as well.

I just watched this one online, and I really loved it! It was her all along, with empathetic motive. I really loved how they figured out some obvious stuff at the end, it's those breakthroughs that are really exciting. I think it's one of my favorites out of the first 7

When Cloe was in the laundry room with the knife, her looks at Beckett looked evil and scary…
